Man on Fire – Season 1 Episode 6 1

Tappen is reprimanded for the ensuing chaos but insists it can be used to show the "real enemy." Creasy tortures Ferraz in an abandoned underground tunnel, where Ferraz reveals that Creasy has just condemned himself. The news suddenly reports that Creasy has kidnapped Poe and is responsible for the bombing. Even Ivan doubts Creasy's intentions and puts the relocation on hold. A tip line is set up, and Beto decides to rat out Creasy. He gains access to Bacca, Vico's right-hand man, and learns about Ivan's involvement. He doesn't care about the reward but wants to get back at Vico and Melo.

In the tunnel, Ferraz reveals that he actually needs Creasy's help. President Carmo has kidnapped Ferraz's family and is forcing him to attack the city. Under the guise of stopping the FRP, Carmo not only steals the election but can also declare an emergency. Ferraz asks Creasy to help rescue his family, promising to hand over recorded phone calls with Carmo and Soares, forcing them to conduct the bombing. He also has intel on Tappen's involvement. Tappen has gone rogue and is working with Carmo. The FRP was supposed to target a different building, but when Rayburn hired Creasy to crack down on the leak, Tappen convinced Carmo to target them so their plan wouldn't be exposed. Tappen also personally supervised the bombing, breaking Creasy's heart.

Creasy calls Poe and gives her a lineup, which she recognizes Tappen as the biker, confirming Ferraz's story. With Beto's intel, the news reports that Marina, Melo, and Livro are in cahoots with Creasy. In prison, Felipe informs Soares about the entrance to the underground tunnels. The prison guards approach Creasy, but he triggers a bomb attached to a faraway pipe, luring them away.

Creasy updates Ivan, who decides to use his original plan to rescue Creasy and Ferraz. However, he doesn't have enough men and needs three more hands. Along with Melo and Livro volunteers. He convinces Vico, who is upset that Livro is risking himself. Livro wants to prove himself and believes it's the right thing to do.

As Ivan's prison break commences, Tappen orders another mission. He knows of Ivan and decides to lead a raid at his villa in hopes of catching Poe. Fortunately, she spots him early on and escapes with Marina on a bike.

At the prison, Livro, Vico, and Melo don the roles of the bomb squad, as Ivan lures the guards with a hail of bullets from a helicopter. Vico masterfully guides them inside, and Melo's voice rings out with a fake evacuation announcement near the tunnel.

Outside, Livro waits as the getaway driver, channeling Vico's brazen persona to evade any questions. Just before the gang escapes, Ferraz backs out. There are no recordings! He simply wanted to save his family and truly hopes that Creasy will find a way to take down Carmo. The only thing he can do is stall by feeding Soares false intel when questioned about the prison break.

Creasy is furious but has no choice but to leave Ferraz behind. The escape goes smoothly, and they all reunite at the docks. Poe hugs Creasy, and he lies that they have everything they need. Alone, he tells Melo that they can still use him as a trade.

In this intricate heist, each member plays their part flawlessly, their actions and motivations a testament to their determination and ingenuity.
