The episode begins with Creasy calling Ivan to help hide Poe, Melo, and Marina in Portugal since the USA is not safe. He also asks his contact to sneak him into prison to confront Ferraz.

Creasy leaves a fake trail by checking into several hotels before making his real base in a nondescript hotel. At the same time, we see Tappen following the fake trail.
When Marina learns that she has to leave her home, she puts up a fight, but Melo calms her down. Poe again begs Creasy not to leave her as he is the only one she has. She tears up when he refuses to budge from his plan. Melo too tries to convince Creasy not to abandon Poe. When he doesn't listen, she offers to take in Poe till the Ferraz situation is resolved.
Creasy pays Duda's men for their troubles. We see that crew politics is involved as Vico isn't part of Duda's crew. Duda blames Beto for taking on a complicated assignment and gives Vico his cut from Beto's share. Annoyed, Beto takes out his anger on Livro, beating him up. Melo, who has come for her share, is shocked and tries to stop him. Vico throws the money at Beto, wanting no part of it.
Melo demands answers from Vico and is shocked to learn that, like Beto, many bully Livro for being different. Meanwhile, Tappen leaves Creasy a message at one of the hotels and the latter calls him from a burner phone. Tappen stalls, trying to emotionally manipulate him. Creasy refuses his help and hangs up but it is too late; Tappen gets his location.
Melo brings Vico and Livro to the safehouse, and Creasy is annoyed. Melo explains her strategy - she and Vico want him to help relocate Livro as well, since the favela will kill him. To earn his keep, Vico promises to get Creasy in and out of the prison. Livro wonders why Vico is going to such lengths to help him. Turns out, Vico's sister, Neusa, was like Livro but he failed to help her. He doesn't want to make the same mistake twice.
On their last night in Rio, Poe confesses to Creasy that she regrets pushing people away and that they should make the most of the time before they part. It turns into a hangout as Creasy cooks with Melo and teaches the rest self-defense. During dinner, Poe and Creasy end up trading funny stories about Rayburn. For the first time, Creasy is able to sleep without wearing a bag over his head.
The next day, Tappen arrives at the location where Creasy called him. There are two hotels nearby. Tappen questions both hotels, claiming that Creasy is a child trafficker. Coincidentally, Creasy and his gang head out via the service elevator. It is a narrow call as Poe heads back to the room because she has forgotten her lucky penny. Fortunately, she is gone by the time Tappen reaches the room.
Vico stealthily made off with Beto's money from his safe, and the group regrouped at Ivan's place.
Melo, Marina, Poe, and Livro prepared to embark on their journey to Portugal, while Creasy embarked on his daring jailbreak. Vico generously offered some of the stolen money to Livro. Poe harbored hopes of seeing Creasy again, but he gently dashed her dreams.
Tappen, poring over the hotel's CCTV footage, recognized an outfit worn by Creasy.
Creasy donned a prison guard's uniform, and Felipe, Vico's fellow guard friend, met them outside the prison. Vico and Creasy exchanged heartfelt farewells, with the former expressing his hope that Creasy would succeed.
As Felipe guided Creasy closer to Ferraz's cell, Tappen made a call. Realizing that Creasy was after Ferraz, he ordered the prison to be locked down. Alarms blared, and Creasy looked bewildered.
