In the seventh episode of Marshals, Dolly Weaver arrives at Kayce's ranch, eager to learn the ropes from him. They ride through the wilderness together, where Kayce is impressed by her exceptional horseback riding skills. Tom soon shows up at the ranch, seeking to repay his debt after the helicopter crash rescue. He proposes a dinner together as a way to settle his debt, but Tom has an alternative plan—an offer to buy East Camp as part of his expanding operation. This catches Kayce off guard, and he abruptly cuts short the dinner while he ponders the offer. He's also rather upset with Dolly, suspecting she's part of this scheme and here to "soften him up" before the final blow. She claims to be just as surprised, and when they say goodnight, she tries to kiss him, but he pulls away, making for an awkward moment indeed!

Marshals – Season 1 Episode 7 1

Meanwhile, Calvin is experiencing tingling sensations in his shoulder and neck, which have been present for some time, dating back to his numerous deployments in the Navy. However, on his way to his car, he spots Jared with another woman. When Belle finds out, she'll be devastated.

The episode takes a shocking turn when a car bombing almost claims the life of a federal judge, Pauline Ayers, and her husband Blake. The Marshals immediately take on the case and set out to figure out who's responsible. First things first, they tell the Ayers family to stay put and restrict their movements while they determine the bomber's identity. Calvin and Andrea go after a convicted felon with a grudge, Clint Gallo.

While Gallo is apprehended, the attacker strikes again at Ayres' house. Fallon, their daughter, gets too close to the window, forcing Belle to rush over and drop her just in time to avoid being hit by a stray bullet. With the house no longer safe, the Marshals decide to relocate the family to a secure location off-grid—Kayce's ranch.

As the judge takes her seat, Calvin ponders whether to reveal Jared's news to Belle. For the moment, he remains silent, partly due to Belle's steadfast belief that "family business should stay in the family." However, we also learn that Blake could be a suspect and behind the assassination attempt on his wife. In addition to Miles discovering fake passports hidden in the wall, it appears that Blake may have been using shell corporations to move money to and from Equatorial Guinea.

Blake has been using an alias for his business and CCTV footage shows him at the ranch, being taken by gunmen. Now, evidence from Blake's hard drive indicates that he was using the non-profit as a cover to smuggle weapons for the revolutionaries in Guinea. Andrea and Kayce pursue the goons holding Blake at gunpoint and, with Blake rescued, he is brought back to Linda and Fallon.

Fallon is conflicted about how to feel about the entire situation, while Linda seems to be okay with her husband's transgressions, as long as they are all safe. This hits Calvin harder, as he knows these marital secrets are not dissimilar to what's going on with Belle.

They drink together to celebrate their big win, and Calvin finally reveals what's happening with Jared. Belle rolls her eyes and explains that she's holding her family together for her kids, but she knows about the affair and they are in an open marriage. Just like that, Calvin and Belle end up kissing but they awkwardly stop and decide to call it a night.

Back at the ranch, Kayce and Dolly head out for another ride together.
