Elsewhere, Harry Da Souza (Tom Hardy) appears to be dozing off in a chair, immersed in a world of his own. His phone buzzes incessantly, snapping him out of his reverie. Answering the call, he hears Kevin Harrigan's (Paddy Considine) urgent voice warning him that Richie Stevenson (Geoff Bell) is on their trail.

As soon as the call ends, Harry shakes Jan Da Souza (Joanne Froggatt) awake, urging her to dress quickly. Panicked, she dashes down the stairs, her heart pounding, as Gina Da Souza (Teddie Allen) emerges from her room, sleepily stretching. Jan, relieved to see her daughter safe, heads to her room to get dressed. Harry, remaining calm, asks Gina to prepare herself as well. He dials Mike's (Ben Jones) number, asking for a favor in a tone that brook no refusal.

Elsewhere, Conrad Harrigan (Pierce Brosnan) issues a command over the phone, ordering everyone to stand by. Paul (Emmett J Scanlan) rushes to inform Maeve Harrigan (Helen Mirren) that Richie has blown up Kevin's house. Maeve, concerned, asks about Bella Harrigan's (Lara Pulver) whereabouts, and Paul informs her that Kevin has booked her into a hotel. Harry contacts Kevin, instructing him to bring Eddie Harrigan (Anson Boon) to the yard. Kevin, though reluctant, agrees and mentions that Tommy Stephenson has been found.

At home, Harry accesses his home security system, scanning the perimeter of their house with a keen eye. Maeve confronts Conrad, accusing him of prioritizing Seraphina Harrigan (Mandeep Dhillon) over their son Brendan Harrigan (Daniel Betts). She reminds him that Brendan is their flesh and blood, while Seraphina was just a fleeting romance. Conrad counters by reminding her of the millions Brendan had cost him.

As Harry, Gina, and Jan prepare to leave, a vehicle screeches to a halt across the street. Harry tells Jan to drive while he approaches the vehicle, where he finds Richie's men, Olie Donker (Arnold Oceng) and Freddie Shaw (Bradley Turner), armed to the teeth and masked. Jan, hearing angry voices from inside the car, is on edge. Freddie mocks Harry for being unarmed, but Harry pulls out his phone and dials Conrad, who confirms he can hear him. Harry issues a stark warning: if they shoot them, Sonya will be pulled out of the Thames tonight, and their parents, pets, and siblings will suffer the same fate. Freddie repeats the same threat, but Olie silences him. Harry suggests they inform Richie that no one was home, and Shaw reluctantly apologizes. With that, Harry speeds away with his family, leaving the dangerous situation behind.

Elsewhere, Conrad embraces Eddie and Kevin as they set off for the yard. Later, Harry, Gina, and Jan meet Mike, who reluctantly agreed to let them stay on his houseboat. Jan persists in asking who Mike is, and Harry casually mentions that Mike owes him a gambling debt of thirty thousand pounds. Jan shares a disturbing story about Maria (Ellen Costa) finding her mother lying in feces and urine, prompting Harry to promise that he will address the issue and attend their upcoming meeting. Gina, ever the cautious one, urges him to be careful.

Bella guides Antoine Arloud, portrayed by Gregoire Colin, through the bustling city streets, recounting how she fled her father, Lord Pennock, played by Steven Pacey, at the tender age of fifteen. During a subsequent encounter with Pennock, Antoine inquiries about the possibility of Malcolm facilitating a meeting between him and the Prime Minister. Unbeknownst to Pennock, Bella conceals a camera in her purse. In exchange for a favorable consideration, Pennock agrees to arrange the meeting. Later, Antoine, though reluctant, declines to hand over the camera footage directly to Bella but assures her he will send her a duplicate.

Meanwhile, Detective Sergeant Ivan Fisk, portrayed by Luke Mably, and Detective Constable Mukasa, played by Gemma Knight Jones, tail Harry to a yard. Harry pulls into a warehouse where Kevin and Eddie are already in waiting. He informs them that Fisk had been tailing him before proceeding to open a storage container. Eddie steps inside to find a hooded figure seated in a chair. Harry instructs him to uncover the face. Upon removing the hood, Eddie discovers a bloodied and battered Valjon, portrayed by Peter Ferdinando, who denies any acquaintance with him. Harry clarifies that no one had assumed otherwise. Kevin detects an unsettling stench. Harry picks up Tommy's decapitated head and commands Valjon to spill the beans. Valjon alleges that Eddie offered him ten thousand pounds to deal with Tommy. Dismissive of further revelations, Eddie attempts to leave, but Kevin, raising his voice, orders him to stay.

Valjon reveals that Eddie stabbed Hughie Campbell, and he and Tommy fled the pub. He later picked them up, brought them back to the club, left, and upon returning, found Tommy stabbed to death with Eddie nowhere to be found. Eddie labels him a liar. Enraged, Kevin grabs Eddie and drags him out of the container. Harry confiscates Valjon's wallet and exits. Kevin shoves Eddie into an office, grabs a stun gun, strikes him, and informs him that their house has been bombed. Kevin congratulates Eddie for igniting a war, which Harry claims he has only disclosed to Kevin.

Kevin dials Conrad on a burner phone, which Maeve answers, inquiring about the commotion. Kevin fills her in on the latest developments. Conrad requests to speak to Eddie, and Kevin places the phone on speaker. Harry confirms his presence. Maeve urges Conrad to assure Eddie that he is a true Harrigan. He terminates the call and smashes the phone. Noticing Eddie's sinister smile, Kevin scolds him and orders him to remain. Outside, Kevin expresses discontent over Conrad's leniency towards Eddie. Harry pitches his idea to Kevin.

Inside the office, Eddie toys with the stun gun. Meanwhile, in the sauna, Conrad and Maeve devise a plan to eliminate Richie and his inner circle. She suggests taking out Vron Stevenson and boasts of being the "White Queen." He insists on awaiting Harry's proposals. Elsewhere, Harry dispatches Kiko, portrayed by Antonio Gonzalez Guerrero, to procure footage of Jan and Zosia, played by Jasmine Jobson, for transporting Eddie to Cotswold. Maria, played by Ellen Costa, calls to remind Harry of their meeting at the care home. Kevin alerts him that the Czechs are en route. Harry heads to the care home, with Fisk and Mukasa trailing behind.

Upon arrival, Harry inquires with the manager, Christine, played by Holly Atkins, if they can converse. Christine reminds them of their lengthy waiting list. An assistant, portrayed by Phoebe Douglas, barges in, informing them of the hot water outage. Harry promises to send a plumber, Dave, within the hour, suggesting his brother Steve could fix a damaged window in her office. He requests a notification if a bed becomes available. Harry reassures Maria that Christine will contact them, as a message from Kiko – "The eagle has landed" – pops up on his phone. He catches sight of Alan Rusby, played by Nigel Lindsay, enjoying tea with a female resident, triggering a flashback of him administering a beating. Maria inquires about his wellbeing, to which he assures her he is fine. Fisk snapshots Harry and Maria.

Haunted by the haunting memory of Rusby brutalizing an inmate, perhaps even a younger version of himself, within the stark walls of a correctional facility, Harry's thoughts were tumultuous. Soon after, Kevin burst into his world with news that the Czechs had made their move. He insisted that Bella harbored secrets, her indifference to their home's mention a chilling testament. Harry feigned ignorance, donning a tailored suit and donning protective gear alongside Kevin, they ventured into the container.

Harry uncovered Valjon's hood, revealing the man's haunted eyes. "You've done nothing to aid the Harrigans," he declared, the weight of impending loss hanging over them all. "Their joy should be yours to share." Kevin then showed Valjon a poignant video of his daughters, Mika and Rose, their innocence a stark contrast to their father's plight. Valjon's pleas echoed through the confined space.

Harry aimed his gun at Valjon, his finger squeezing the trigger twice, only to be met with an eerie silence. In a cunning maneuver, they coerced Valjon into confessing to Tommy's murder. Meanwhile, at Cotswold, Eddie waved cheerily to Maeve from an upper-floor window, his actions earning a rebuke from Seraphina who chastised him for endangering his family. Eddie's playful taunt about her not being a true Harrigan drew a stern warning. Brendan, irked by the disruption to his schedule, laid blame at Eddie's feet.

Yet, Maeve's unwavering support for Eddie shone bright, insisting that he had stood up for their family, a bond outsiders could never comprehend. Seraphina's reminder that she married into the Harrigan family fell on deaf ears. Conrad, drawing Seraphina aside, confessed the pain his affair with her mother had inflicted on Maeve, revealing the tumultuous secret of her conception at just sixteen. Seraphina disclosed Brendan's offer, and Conrad counseled caution, urging her not to make any deals without his consent. When she inquired about Eddie's involvement in Tommy's death, Conrad assured her he'd manipulate Richie into believing whatever narrative suited their purposes.

At The Sinful Monkey, Richie received Harry's harrowing call, breaking into heart-wrenching sobs upon hearing of Tommy's demise. Meanwhile, Kevin and Harry swapped cars in a desperate bid to throw off pursuit. Fisk, hot on their trail, chased Kevin in Harry's car, while a dispatcher received a cryptic tip about Archie Hammond's burial site.

Kevin, steering towards an underpass, exited the vehicle, his cap discarded, and greeted Fisk and Mukasa with an air of calm defiance. Fisk's fury was palpable as he pounded the steering wheel, only to be interrupted by a call revealing Archie's final resting place. The tension mounted, each moment teetering on the edge of disaster.

Valjon recounted to Richie with a chilling tone how Tommy had attempted to stab him during the harrowing moment when he was forced into the trunk of his own car. Tommy's ferocious assault led to a desperate struggle, resulting in multiple stab wounds inflicted upon Valjon by sheer survival instinct. Tragically, Tommy succumbed to his injuries, and in a desperate bid to cover his tracks, Valjon disarticulated the lifeless body. Richie, concerned for his family, inquired whether his children were safe with Kevin. Valjon, his voice tinged with bitterness, revealed that his wife had deserted him for another man, taking their children to the distant shores of Spain. Enraged, Richie unleashed a barrage of bullets upon Valjon, his eyes blazing with fury. He issued a stark warning to Harry, hinting at dire consequences should he find Valjon's narrative even remotely questionable.

After Harry's departure, Richie, overwhelmed with emotion, found himself sobbing over the grim remnants of Tommy's life, cradling the dismembered body in a poignant display of human fragility. Meanwhile, Harry dialed Kevin's number, his voice urgent as he forewarned that Richie would soon be interrogating Valjon. He instructed Kevin to alert Conrad and abruptly ended the call, leaving no room for doubt in his mission's urgency.

Entering the hotel, Harry made a beeline for Bella's room, his steps purposeful. Bella confessed, her voice trembling, to orchestrating a clandestine meeting between Antoine and Pennock. She revealed that Antoine possessed incriminating footage of Pennock accepting a substantial bribe in exchange for access to the Prime Minister. Antoine, she continued, was blackmailing her, threatening to expose her to Pennock unless she paid him handsomely. When Harry inquired about Antoine's whereabouts, Bella disclosed that he was staying at the opulent Savoy Hotel. Warning her of the perilous nature of her predicament, Harry vowed to intervene and deal with Antoine.

Bella, her eyes pleading, asked why Harry chose to serve such a disloyal and monstrous master. He, in turn, hinted at his own tumultuous relationship with Jan, suggesting they shared a similar plight. She, in a moment of weakness, tempted him with a kiss, only to be firmly but gently rejected. The tension between them was palpable, yet unyielding loyalty kept their desire in check.
