In the opening of Episode 3 of Motor Valley, Elena is seen scrambling as she's cut off from the family trust. She pleads with Giulio at his place, but he dismisses her and tells her she shouldn't have gone behind his back. Elena does her best to try and salvage the situation, eventually agreeing to give up her gold watch as collateral with a car salesman. When Benini finds out she's gambling a lot and banking on the championship winnings, he's clearly uneasy about it. Sergio also drives a hard bargain, deciding that Elena should put up the company as collateral if she loses. She signs on the dotted line, but it does make things even more risky as a result.

The next day, Blu shows up with Ahmed for the trip, but Elena and Benini don't have much room in the truck, so he has to drive behind to Monza, where the next race is taking place. When they arrive, Blu and Paolo butt heads both on and off the racetrack during qualifying. Giulio plays dirty on the racetrack, pulling off a risky maneuver that forces Blu to brake hard. Unfortunately, Paolo is in pole position for the race.
After the race, Paolo manages to rile up Ahmed and Blu, encouraging them to go and do an illegal street race with him. Blu and Paolo race, where they eventually wind up outrunning the police and hiding. While catching their breaths, the pair wind up kissing. Paolo also apologizes for cutting across her on the track, admitting it was Giulio's idea, not his. He clearly likes her and the pair do end up getting closer together, kissing properly this time.
When they eventually head back again, Blu and Paolo are in a world of trouble. Benini doesn't think she's ready to properly commit to racing, given her attitude, and tells her she's going nowhere. The tension between Elena and her colleagues is palpable as they navigate through this new challenge together.
Later, Ahmed attempts to kiss Blu, only to be disappointed when she realizes her preference is for Paolo over him. This takes Blu by surprise, especially since he is supposed to be her friend. In the morning, Benini makes amends with Blu, offering encouragement and sound advice. As a result, she begins to trust him more, driving around the racetrack with her eyes closed to learn to rely on his instructions.
As the race commences, Giulio continues to cause trouble, tracking down Arianna, Blu's mother. He shows her live footage from the racetrack, just as Blu manages to emerge victorious in first place. That night, Blu doesn't show up for dinner with Ahmed. She completely forgot and, instead of talking to him, decides to ignore his call and go for a drink with Paolo instead. Meanwhile, Benini and Elena end up sleeping together.
