Elsewhere, actor Yoon Jung-ho holds a press conference, announcing his intention to sue Jeong-sin and her company for defamation. As Jae-hyeong drives Jeong-sin home, the clock strikes 10:30, and Hyeon-jun calls. When Jae-hyeong answers the phone, he mistakenly assumes he's Jeong-sin's boyfriend or husband. After this, Jeong-sin wakes up, seemingly less drunk, and receives a call from a colleague summoning her back to work. The chaos caused by Yoon Jung-ho's press conference prompts Hwa-young to demand that Jeong-sin rectify the situation.

Later, Jeong-sin overhears Hwa-young talking to her son and learns from a colleague that she is divorced. However, the identity of the boy's father remains a mystery. Back home, Hyeon-jun learns about the press conference and wonders if he should call Jeong-sin but ultimately decides against it.

At work, Jeong-sin continues to suspect Yoon Jung-ho's relationship with the young psychiatrist, believing he may be covering it up due to his decision to enter politics. She decides to confront the actor, telling him that if he doesn't drop the lawsuit, things will become truly uncomfortable.

On the Onion app, Hyeon-jun reaches out to Jeong-sin, who explains that her boss answered the phone. She promptly calls him back to assure him that she's not married or catfishing him. Jeong-sin even asks Hyeon-jun to say a specific dialogue, which she finds hilarious and enjoyable.

However, her brother later tells her about how Hyeon-jun failed him during the audition, which ticks her off again. She goes to work, where her colleague tells everyone she saw Jae-hyeong and Hwa-young kissing. She gets another piece of bad news when the chief editor tells her that her transfer to the political desk has been cancelled. He also shows her a genetic test report that shows a positive result between the actor and the psychiatrist.

Elsewhere, Hyeon-jun and Mr Hwang talk to CEO Son about Hwang’s agency being a co-producer for Kang Pil-gu. At the same restaurant, Jae-hyeong takes Jeong-sin out for lunch. He admits he likes spending time with her and she replies by describing the rumours about him. He admits that he used to be in a relationship with Hwa-young but isn’t anymore.

Hyeon-jun visits Park Byeong-ki and asks him to introduce a romantic storyline with a supporting character in the new season of Kang Pil-gu. After much pestering, Byeong-ki says he will try.

After publishing an article with a correction, Jeong-sin gets another call from Yoon Jung-ho, who says he won’t be taking the lawsuit back. She then gets a call from Hyeon-jun, who asks to meet her. She comes to his house and he inquires about the situation with Yoon Jung-ho. He suggests she apologise to the actor but she thinks the public correction is enough.

She also tells him off for failing her brother and walks out the door. Hyeon-jun sees her walking in the rain and offers a lift in his car. On the way home, she describes how she caught a student stealing answer sheets in school. The school tried to offer her a scholarship as a bribe but she went to the media instead and got the whole story out.

Afterwards, Hyeon-jun takes her to Yoon Jung-ho’s house so she can apologise. He truly believes it can help save her career. Jeong-sin then reveals that Se-na told her that Yoon Jung-ho has been sexually harassing actresses in minor roles for years, including Se-na when she wasn’t up and coming. That’s when Yoon Jung-ho arrives home and Hyeon-jun makes it look like he and Jeong-sin are kissing, in order to hide their identities. He takes her home and she reiterates that she will gladly take the more difficult if it means doing the right thing.

Upon returning home, Hyeon-jun stumbles upon a pen drive belonging to Jeong-sin, lying unnoticed on the floor. It must have slipped out of her pocket during her visit. To distract himself from thoughts of Jeong-sin, Hyeon-jun reaches for his Onion app to text a friend, unaware that the message is actually being sent to her. Jeong-sin, in turn, offers him some uplifting tips, like basking in the sun, which he heeds the next day.

Meanwhile, Jeong-sin discovers a fan page dedicated to Hyeon-jun and decides to join, answering a quiz about him along the way. She excitedly shares it with Melomaster (Hyeon-jun's alias on the Onion app) and encourages him to join too. She spends an entire night tirelessly adding new posts to liven up the fan page.

The next day at work, Jeong-sin is taken aback to learn that Yoon Jung-ho has withdrawn his lawsuit. She is also surprised to read a new article announcing that Yoon Jung-ho has joined Hyeon-jun's agency. In a conversation with Mr. Hwang, Hyeon-jun reveals that he has taken this action as a form of revenge. He now orders Mr. Hwang to deny Jung-ho any new roles and support from the agency.

Later, the actor and his manager meet Jae-hyeong and Lee Dae-ho, revealing that the four of them are embarking on a fishing trip together. The air is charged with anticipation and excitement as they prepare for their adventure.
