As the evening unfurls, Jeong-sin pays a visit to their office, harboring anger towards Hyeon-jun for allowing Yoon Jung-ho to join their agency. Hyeon-jun reassures her that this is part of his plan to put the actor in his place. Later that night, Hyeon-jun discovers that the user named Soulishere (mirroring his pen pal on Onion) has revived his fan page with a barrage of posts. He sends a message through the fan page, thanking her, which sets Jeong-sin's excitement aflame.

The next day, Jeong-sin utilizes the Onion app to inform Melomaster (Hyeon-jin's username) of Hyeon-jun's genuine response to her fan posts. Mr. Hwang catches a glimpse of Hyeon-jun smiling while texting Jeong-sin.

The first table read for Kang Pil-gu Season 5 commences, but midway through, they receive devastating news that actor Lee Gi-chun has passed away. The team attends the funeral, with Se-na insisting on accompanying Hyeon-jun. There, Hyeon-jun notices Jeong-sin and the other reporters sitting on the floor and arranges for a table and chairs to ensure their comfort.

Later, Hyeon-jun finds himself caught between Soulishere and Jeong-sin. He confides in his psychiatrist, who advises him to choose one path and commit to it. By not replying to Soulishere, Jeong-sin begins to wonder what's happening.

Meanwhile, the actor set to portray the younger version of Kang Pil-gu sustains an injury, prompting Byeong-gi to hold another audition. Seon-u and Hong-sin are both contenders, and Byeong-gi sends their audition tapes to Hyeon-jun. However, Hyeon-jun becomes enraged and demands Byeong-gi to choose Hong-sin for the role. He furiously attempts to reach Seon-u but is met with silence as she purposefully ignores his call.

As Jeong-sin returned home, her brother couldn't help but notice the decline in her texting frequency. He mentioned his observation of her flirting with Melomaster and suggested they should embark on a date. The following day at work, Jae-hyeong presented Jeong-sin with a reservation card from a restaurant, hinting at a dinner date. Though hesitant, she eventually sent him a message declining the offer, only for Hwa-young to show up in her stead, irritating Jae-hyeong in the process.

Jeong-sin found herself torn between Melomaster and Hyeon-jun. She sent a text to Melomaster expressing her desire to get to know him better and suggested a personal meeting. Hyeon-jun, on the other hand, asked for time, which she granted him—a week, with a promise to wait for him at N Seoul Tower at 8 pm on that day.

The day of the deadline loomed large as Hyeon-jun struggled with his decision to meet Soulishere or not. At work, Jeong-sin apologized to Jae-hyeong, only to be confused when he accused her of sending Hwa-young in her place. Later, Hwa-young explained that she had overheard their conversation and intended to reconcile with Jae-hyeong.

Stuck in a quagmire of indecision, Hyeon-jun sought the help of Byeong-gi. Byeong-gi agreed to do whatever his script demanded if Hyeon-jun would go on a date with Soulishere and end things with her. In return, Byeong-gi asked for a kiss scene with Se-na. Hyeon-jun was forced into an agreement and they headed out to N Seoul Tower.

As Jeong-sin arrived at N Seoul Tower, Byeong-gi went to see her while Hyeon-jun hid and watched from a distance. His shock knew no bounds when he realized that Soulishere was none other than Jeong-sin herself.
