Episode 7 of "No Tail to Tell" begins with Si-yeol and Eun-ho being rescued by firefighters. At the hospital, Pagun pretends to be a doctor and warns Si-yeol not to tempt fate. When Eun-ho hugs him, Si-yeol is touched by her genuine concern for him. However, once the moment passes, they become awkward. They keep noticing each other's good looks and charm.

On their way home, Eun-ho complains about having no clothes. It ends with Si-yeol going broke as she goes on a shopping spree.
Onto the Good Deeds Project, Geum-ho 2.0 pops up to reveal that they have earned nothing despite saving over 10 people. Si-yeol figures that it's because of Eun-ho's selfish mindset.
Lee Yoon ambushes Woo-seok and, once he gets him alone, asks for a favor. Yoon is worried about Eun-ho coming after him and wants Woo-seok to act as a mediator and fix things. He tries to threaten Si-yeol when Woo-seok gets another fragment of his memory back. It's of Eun-ho ordering Geum-ho 2.0 to erase his memory because she found out his weakness. Yoon offers to help regain his memory in exchange for news about the weakness, and Woo-seok hesitates.
Back in Seoul, Si-yeol and Eun-ho discuss a new plan. Si-yeol suggests doing something undeniably good to figure out the rules for gaining spiritual power. They volunteer at a local old-age home. As expected, they bicker while working together. Eun-ho notices an old couple and can't understand how someone can love the same person for so long. Eun-ho and Si-yeol end up sharing about their non-existent love lives. Si-yeol was constantly dumped, while Eun-ho refused to love someone out of fear that she would turn human. She starts sulking, and Si-yeol tries to cheer her up. They end up having a water fight while hanging the laundry.
Back to Yoon, he's back in the country and has brought Secretary Choi on his search for Jang Do-cheol, the fox hunter. From his research, Choi reveals that Do-cheol's wife and daughter were cursed and met a tragic end because Do-cheol refused his shamanic calling.
Back to our main couple, Si-yeol is completely wet, and Eun-ho gets flustered when he takes off his shirt. Right then, his (new) friends arrive to volunteer as the home is the main sponsor of their football team. To avoid complications, Si-yeol introduces Eun-ho as his girlfriend. The boys wonder if Si-yeol has come to meet his grandmother, and he's shocked to learn she's alive.
We observe that Coach Yong-gil has been spending time with her. Upon seeing her, Si-yeol's eyes welled up with tears and he embraced her, touching everyone's heart. He apologizes for the way he treated her, but in this new life, he has been a devoted grandson. Her greatest gift to him is his frequent visits and taking her to various places around the country. Yong-gil and Si-yeol reach a truce as the former believes the boy is struggling financially due to medical bills. Si-yeol is deeply moved when Yong-gil reveals that he has kept his name on the team roster for the sponsor discount.
As for Eun-ho, she is suddenly confronted by an elderly man who blames her for something. Once the man is escorted away, his family apologizes and reveals that he has been docile due to dementia. Upon learning his name – Hwang Dong-sik – Eun-ho recalls that he was her client 30 years ago.
That night, Si-yeol cooks dinner for Eun-ho to lift her spirits. She finally believes that everything that has happened lately is a form of punishment. The only problem is, she was so detached that she doesn't know how she has wronged people.
Si-yeol tries to ease her guilt by sharing that he no longer views the fate switch as a punishment since he got a chance to reconnect with his grandmother. He wonders if Eun-ho has experienced even one good moment of her time being human. She ponders this and realizes that she has romantic feelings for him. She asks him to date her!
In this beautifully crafted scene, the emotions of love, guilt, and redemption are intertwined, painting a vivid picture of the complex human experience.
