Nobody Wants This – Season 2 Episode 2 1

The next day, Morgan joins Noah and Joanne for a grocery trip at the market. As they navigate the crowds, they run into an irksome driver who nearly mows down a mother and child. While Joanne and Morgan are itching to confront the driver, Noah gently dissuades them.

As they shop, Joanne tries to persuade Noah to let her address his mother's behavior. He hesitantly asks her to drop the matter, fearing it will only escalate tensions. After completing their shopping, they spot the driver's car once again, and Morgan impulsively scratches it with a key. Joanne begins to ponder if Noah is judging her for always wanting to confront issues head-on.

Before the basketball game, Noah imparts a tradition to Joanne: leaving their worries at the tree. They touch a tree and leave all their concerns behind. Joanne complies and suggests writing an email to Noah's mother. However, she realizes that venting to her is more difficult than she anticipated. Just when she's at a loss, Esther steps in to offer her support.

Just as the basketball game was reaching its peak, Bina walked in, drawing Joanne's immediate attention. A hushed conversation ensued, with Bina revealing that Joanne had become a roadblock in her relationship with Noah. Her displeasure stemmed from Noah's refusal to attend Shabbat without her, but Joanne reassured her that she was not the cause. In fact, she was touched by Noah's defense of her.

Meanwhile, Esther continued to feel insecure about Sasha and Morgan's friendship. To alleviate her worries, Sasha took her on a nostalgic date to their old spot in the park, admitting her own struggles with their current relationship status. They both agreed to make it work.

Back at the game, Morgan confronted Lenny about his reluctance to date her, revealing that he found her too self-centered. As Morgan retreated to the bathroom to cry, she encountered Bina, who offered comfort. To Morgan's surprise, Bina was an easy confidante. In the midst of her tears, Morgan let slip that Joanne had ended things with Noah, but he had pursued her relentlessly. Joanne was pleased to learn this from Morgan and, in a spirit of reconciliation, dragged Bina outside. Noah quickly followed to ensure they didn't argue again.

Joanne led Bina to a tree and suggested they put their differences aside. She encouraged Noah to vent his frustrations about Big Noah. After finally admitting his hatred for Big Noah, Noah felt a sense of relief.

Despite her earlier reluctance, Bina relented and invited Joanne to Shabbat dinner. However, she would not stop trying to break up the couple's reunion.
