During the podcast, a listener calls in to discuss Noah, revealing that she used to date him and that he abruptly dumped her. She claims that Noah's modus operandi is to make girls feel special before suddenly breaking up with them. Joanne quickly ends the call and later confronts Noah about his behavior.

Noah admits to dating Melanie, and upon further questioning, Joanne realizes that Melanie was right: Noah had given off serious vibes in their relationship. In his defense, Noah claims he was only trying to be a good boyfriend and had no idea about certain things. Joanne advises him to call Rebecca and apologize, noticing a pattern in Noah's behavior.

Rebecca and Noah meet, but Noah is still in denial about how his actions might have misled her. Is he serious?

Elsewhere, Andy showers Morgan with gifts, giving her the key to his house and asking her to move in with him. He promises to give her time to think about it. Meanwhile, Noah tells Joanne that he and Rebecca had a good talk and exchange gifts. Joanne mentions her usual lunch with her sister on Valentine's Day, but unfortunately, Noah already made plans to learn how to cook pasta. They decide to invite Morgan and Andy.

As for the gift, Joanne is torn when she notices that Noah gave her the same necklace he has given his past girlfriends. She spends the rest of the day in a state of anxiety. Later, Noah drops by Sasha's house to pick up the bubble machine, and Sasha warns him to be cautious after the Rebecca and Melanie debacle.

On the contrary, Sasha endeavors to entice Esther into welcoming a second child into their family. He whisks her off to a tango dancing lesson, dazzling her with a sleek and modern dance routine. At the pasta-making class, Morgan's anticipation for a boozy evening disillusions when she realizes they can't imbibe as freely as she desires. Joanne is aghast when Morgan reveals her contemplation of moving in with Andy, sparking a heated debate about the speed of their respective relationships.

Later, Noah arranges a bubbly bath for Joanne, a tradition he has carried over from his past girlfriends on Valentine's Day. Meanwhile, Morgan pays Sasha a surprise visit seeking relationship advice, much to Esther's displeasure. Sasha advises Morgan to trust her instincts, worried that Andy and Morgan are rushing things.

Morgan ultimately decides to take the plunge and move in with Andy. Noah and Joanne finally engage in an open conversation about the necklace and other gifts, with Joanne confessing it's the worst Valentine's Day she's ever had. She implores Noah to be his authentic romantic self, and he is grateful for the feedback, admitting Rebecca said the same. Noah vents his frustration that Joanne didn't get him a card and decides to let her spend the remaining hours of the day as she desires.

Joanne initially opts to watch Love is Blind but changes her mind at the last minute. She scribbles a card for Noah and seductively presents it to him, altering the course of their evening in a more intimate direction.
