As Xander collapses, he watches helplessly as Darros cares for his sister. On her escape, Jules snatches a menacing chip from Darros' office, disables the sonic barrier, and makes a swift exit. Annoyed by the turn of events, Darros instructs Tom to trail Jules, convinced she'll lead them to Lucy.

Elsewhere, Lucy learns of Pam's involvement from Neva and confronts her. The therapist speaks of Jules' association with Darros, her higher purpose, and Darros' untouchable status. Unimpressed, Lucy knocks her out and rushes back to Kira, who is distraught. Kira has been surreptitiously administering a plasma treatment to Eleanor to delay the onset of Alzheimer's symptoms. Lucy assures her that she will find Eleanor but needs Kira's help to bring down Darros. Realizing she must let go of the original Eleanor, Kira finds closure and sets her sights on the task ahead.

Amidst the turmoil, Printout Eleanor encounters Lucas and confides in him about her Alzheimer's diagnosis. Already shaken, his composure further unravels as Lucy enters the scene, prompting Eleanor to disclose the full truth. His agitation stems from the moral indignation of printouts' existence, and he retreats in anger. Lucy offers solace to Eleanor, who feels like a fraud. She shares that if the original's memories bring joy to Printout Eleanor, that is all that truly matters. Their conversation then turns to Lucy's sole bloodstained memory, which Eleanor reveals as their father's tragic suicide. He was consumed by depression, taking his life with a bloody knife that young Eleanor had found.

In another turn of events, Jules stumbles upon a runaway dog from a nearby shelter, equipped with a tracker. Together, they head to a rest stop where Jules calls Craig. The dog's owner, fearful of the animal, is assisted by Jules in return for a favor. After she and the dog depart with Craig, Tom unexpectedly appears. The rest-stop owner mentions the tracker, igniting Tom's greed.

Elsewhere, Craig and Jules engage in a heartfelt conversation. She feels like an outlier, but he reassures her that it's not where they come from that defines them, but where they're headed. Empowered by his words, Jules decides to fight back and summons Lucy to the dockyard.

Darros, meanwhile, lays into Xander, convinced that his inability to convince Jules of anything is a testament to his imperfection, unfit to carry on his legacy. Xander inquiries about their sister, but Darros remains indifferent, prompting a disheartened Xander to gather his things and leave.

Tom eventually traces the dog to the dockyard, where Jules stands as bait. Before he can exit his vehicle, Lucy and Eleanor ram their car into his, fleeing the scene as the dog devours Tom's severed ear. Lucy updates Kira, who delves into Josh's laptop. He finds records of when he printed Xander and is bewildered by Darros' intentions. Kira decides to confront Emily, revealing Josh's involvement. As Orphan Black: Echoes Episode 7 draws to a close, Emily demands to know everything, her gun drawn.
