The subsequent press conference ignites a firestorm, with DCP Bharadwaj and Ansari addressing the public amidst a whirlwind of media attention. Ansari, poised to spearhead the investigation despite his youthful age, faces an onslaught of skeptics questioning his readiness.
Meanwhile, another story unfolds parallel to this grim event – a Missing Persons case involving Raghu Paswan, a husband whose sudden disappearance has left his wife, Gita, in a state of frustration and despair. Her daily ritual of receiving his calls has been shattered, and she is at her wits' end.
Taking pity on her plight, Chaudhary leads his team to investigate her home. There, they uncover train tickets destined for Nagaland, suggesting a plausible theory that Raghu had embarked on a work trip. However, Chaudhary's instincts tingle with discomfort, prompting him to delve deeper into the mystery.
On the other hand, Ansari's path leads him to the morgue, where he gleans grim details about Thom's fate. The perpetrator behind the brutal beheading is likely a seasoned professional, aiming to send a chilling message through their actions. Through conversations with the waiter, a recurring pattern emerges: Thom would frequent the bar, often accompanied by a security officer. On the fateful night, however, he was alone, engaged in a heated phone conversation before returning to his room. Though the specifics of the call remain a mystery, Thom had requested room service for breakfast at 7am, prompting the waiter's arrival at the crucial moment.
Upon reviewing the CCTV footage, a peculiar female figure catches our attention, exhibiting suspicious behavior as she hastily exits the hotel. Present in the scene is also Daniel, the security guard on duty at the time, visibly consumed by guilt. It transpires that his attention was diverted due to an affair with another woman, causing him to neglect his post, so to speak. The enigmatic woman captured on tape turns out to be Rose Livo, a hostess at the local bar with疑似ties to the illicit drug trade.
At home, tensions run high between Chaudhary and Renu. With Siddharth having left for greener pastures, Renu plans to commence tutoring sessions from the upcoming week, yearning for a more comfortable lifestyle than their current circumstances allow. She feels a void left by her absence from the workforce and craves the purpose it once provided.
