Episode 3 of "Pantheon" kicks off with a fervent wave of protests echoing the urgent demand for secure internet access, following an excruciating 40-day blackout. Later, Maddie seeks refuge with her mother, Ellen, pleading her not to disclose her whereabouts to the senator, for Caspian's sake. Ellen, however, proposes a different course of action—reactivating Waxman to devise a system capable of identifying User Interfaces (UIs), thereby reassuring internet users of their safety.

Upon her return, Maddie and Caspian concoct a plan to visit Joey Coupet, the astronaut UI, to assess her suitability as their guardian. Their visit, however, takes a dramatic turn when Joey's husband confronts Caspian, insisting on a cure for his wife.

Amidst the escalating tension, Caspian manages to rectify Joey's flaw, but their discovery dashes their hopes; Joey is not the UI guardian they had envisioned. Undeterred, Joey vows to uphold her original duty of safeguarding the country from potential threats.

Elsewhere, Renee leads Stephen to the vicinity of a military base, granting him unauthorized access to the military's internet. Through this conduit, he ventures into the virtual realm crafted by Chanda, where he encounters three UIs. One of the Chinese UIs, rebuffing his presence, meets an untimely demise. Desperate, Stephen utilizes her code in a bid to repair Chanda and the remaining UI. Though his efforts result in minor enhancements, altering their appearances, he falls short of fully restoring them.

After departing Joey's residence, Maddie attends to Caspian's wound sustained during the threatening confrontation. She admonishes him for jeopardizing his safety, underscoring her helplessness without him by saying, "I can't navigate this alone." In that tender, poignant moment, their lips meet in a heartfelt kiss.

The episode concludes on a note of official proclamation, with the government unveiling Safe Surf, a cutting-edge application meticulously crafted to detect and eradicate Unauthorized Interfaces (UIs), thereby safeguarding the digital journey of citizens and reassuring them of a secure internet experience.
