The system's swift and decisive action results in the UI's complete eradication.
Elsewhere, Maddie and Caspian embark on a quest to meet Olivia, a potential candidate renowned for her advocacy of peaceful coexistence between humans and UIs, as evidenced by a compelling speech she once delivered. Meanwhile, Stephen meticulously reconstructs the virtual world, mirroring its every facet to the real world with uncanny precision.
Upon their encounter with Olivia, Maddie and Caspian articulate their mission: to seek out a UI guardian capable of fostering harmony between the two realms. In response, Olivia opens up her heart, sharing memories of her ill-fated romance with Farhad, a UI hailing from Israel. Their initial encounters were marked by the tensions of their respective countries' conflicts, but as time passed, they crossed the divide, secretly cherishing moments of forbidden intimacy. Olivia passionately implores Maddie and Caspian to administer the cure to Farhad, whose condition is rapidly spiraling downwards.
However, Stephen beats them to Farhad, manipulating his code to bolster his strength. Elsewhere, discord brews between Chanda and Ping, the remaining Chinese UI. While Ping remains suspicious of Stephen's intentions, Chanda exhibits a greater willingness to place her trust in him.
Determined to reach Farhad, Maddie, Caspian, and Olivia establish an encrypted connection via a resonant bell, signaling Farhad to join them. Yet, Stephen arrives alongside Farhad, launching an assault on the trio with the aim of seizing control of MIST. In the ensuing fray, Olivia bravely fights back, while MIST miraculously cures her. However, their presence is detected by Safe Surf, prompting a dire situation.
In a selfless act of sacrifice, Olivia shields Farhad and the others from the impending anti-UI "storm," absorbing its fury. Though part of Stephen is caught in the storm, he narrowly escapes back into the sanctuary of the virtual realm.
With a steadfast resolve to demonstrate the advantages of transitioning into a User Interface expert, Stephen approaches Renee with instructions, tasking her to meticulously organize the warehouses and marshal all necessary resources in anticipation of his forthcoming strategic maneuver. Meanwhile, in a different locale, Caspian, still reeling from his confrontation with Stephen, steps outdoors hoping to gather his thoughts. Unfortunately, his attempt at solitude is abruptly shattered as he is forcibly abducted. The episode culminates in a dramatic twist, with Maddie inadvertently witnessing Caspian's harrowing ordeal.
