Episode 7 of Percy Jackson Season 2 commences with Thalia valiantly battling the Furies to save Annabeth and Luke. Later, Chiron shares with them that Zeus had transformed her into a tree as a tribute to her selfless sacrifice. As the story unfolds, Annabeth awakens from a vision about Thalia, only to discover herself tied to a bed.

Elsewhere, the hippocampi escort Percy and his companions to Luke's ship. They confront Aidan, one of Luke's crew, and learn the whereabouts of Annabeth. Percy and Clarisse engage in a heated debate about their next course of action, with Clarisse prioritizing the fleece and Percy yearning to rescue Annabeth first. However, Clarisse refuses to cooperate, snatches Percy's hotel key card, and storms off.
On the ship, Allison removes the golden fleece from Annabeth and commands Luke to place it on Kronos' sarcophagus. Clarisse sneaks onto the ship but becomes trapped in a room when a group of Luke's crew arrives and begins playing a card game. Meanwhile, Percy also sneaks onto the boat, steals a key card from one of the ship's crew, and stumbles upon a tied-up pegasus named Blackjack. He sets Blackjack free and then descends to Annabeth's room, freeing her from the bed.
A few moments later, Luke enters the room. Percy conceals himself by donning Annabeth's invisibility hat and sets off to retrieve the fleece. Annabeth attempts to convince Luke of the truth about Kronos, telling him she had a vision of the fleece restoring Thalia to human form, but Luke remains unconvinced.
Outside, Tyson and Grover search for a way back to camp now that the hippocampi have departed. Tyson eventually calls Sally for assistance. In the meantime, Kronos orders Allison to eliminate Annabeth. She ropes in other crew members in case Luke needs to be stopped. Clarisse witnesses their movement towards Annabeth and decides to follow. Eventually, Annabeth and Clarisse confront five other demigods and defeat them.
Meanwhile, Percy reaches Kronos' sarcophagus where the Titan's disembodied voice offers to reveal the Great Prophecy if he allows Kronos to retain the golden fleece. However, Percy is not tempted and retrieves the fleece. Unfortunately, Luke arrives at that moment, and the two engage in a fierce battle. Luke stabs Percy, but Percy escapes and heals himself with the fleece.
He reunites with the others on the deck, where Blackjack greets Percy with a nod. Percy instructs Clarisse to mount Blackjack and carry the fleece to camp. He apologizes for their earlier disagreement, where he believed her prophecy signified her isolating herself and failing. Instead, he clarifies that the prophecy signifies her friends will aid her in soaring alone, enabling her to reach camp swiftly with the fleece.
As she departs, Percy and Annabeth regroup with Grover, Tyson, and a surprise addition - Sally! She arrives with a car and drives them all back to camp, where they update her on the unfolding events. While Annabeth and Grover celebrate the fleece's potential to restore Thalia, Percy recalls his nightmare where Thalia attacks him.
Back on the ship, Luke confronts Kronos, questioning why he didn't inform him that Thalia could be saved. Kronos dismisses it as a lie and tasks Luke with proving his loyalty by killing Percy.
