That evening, Hui-ju returned to Prince Yi-an's private abode, where the staff warmly greeted her. Our journey then takes us back to the night of the engagement, when Prince Yi-an had warned her about A-reum's true allegiance to the queen. In a bid to support Hui-ju, Hye-rung decided to move in with her at the prince's residence.

Once settled, Prince Yi-an summoned her, requesting her presence at the palace the next day to plan their wedding. She arrived at the palace simultaneously with Jeong-woo and was announced alongside him. Jeong-woo insisted on hosting a grand wedding to divert attention from the recent losses suffered by the royal family. The royal wedding was also anticipated to boost the country's economy.
As they discussed the wedding arrangements, Prince Yi-an grew jealous, observing their interaction. He reminded Jeong-woo to watch his conduct. Hui-ju then confessed that Jeong-woo was aware of their contract marriage. This revelation angered Prince Yi-an, who confronted her about it. She tried her best to explain and said he had no right to be mad, considering his unpredictable behavior. She mentioned fighting the urge to get a contract, and he challenged her to do it.
They began drafting the terms of their relationship, with the marriage expected to last at most three years. She would return everything except her title or rank, and everything between them would remain confidential. Just as they were wrapping things up, Yi-rang appeared. They hastily hid the papers.
Meanwhile, Da-young used her relationship with Hui-ju to settle a score with a rival.
Back at Hui-ju and Prince Yi-an, they paid their respects to Yi-rang. Hui-ju noticed how Prince Yi-an reached for her hands. Yi-rang invited them to dine at her place, and they agreed.
Elsewhere, Choi-hyun and Hye-jung dined together. Choi-hyun worried about how things would turn out. He thought there was a chance the couple might fall in love, but Hye-jung believed that could never happen. The conversation turned to Hye-jung's taste in men, and she became flustered. It was clear that Choi-hyun had a crush on her, and Court Lady Jin-sook knew this.
At dinner, Yi-rang tried to get Hui-ju drunk but failed. She then brought up Prince Yi-an's late father and claimed that he wouldn't approve of their relationship. She went as far as to accuse him of wanting the throne and asked whether he killed his brother.
Hui-ju was pressed on Prince Yi-an's behalf. She asked Yi-rang to excuse them and dragged her man away. She angrily confessed that she would help him once they got married. She was only holding back because they were not married yet.
Prince Yi-an asked her to take him away from the palace, and they went for a drive. He admitted to loving the freedom of driving since it was one of the few things he was allowed to do. It made him feel like he was flying. She invited him to her yacht to show him a different feeling of flying. She sent everyone away and said he could do whatever he wanted. She talked him into breaking the rule about what he ate and fed him accordingly. When he got indigestion, she teased him but also performed a home remedy to help him.
Meanwhile, King Yi-hoon was disappointed when he ran to his uncle's quarters and found him gone.
Back at the yacht, Hui-ju led Prince Yi-an to the sundeck, and they recreated a Titanic-inspired flying scene. As they shifted their positions, Hui-ju stumbled, and they fell onto the sunbed. Hui-ju ended up lying on Prince Yi-an's chest. She tried to pull back, but he hugged her tightly in place. She tried again, and he flipped and pinned her under him. This time, he reminded her that she had permitted him to do whatever he wanted. He kissed her, and she kissed him back for another fervent second kiss.
In the epilogue, we return to the night before the banquet when he had asked her to secretly meet him. That night, they practiced their waltz dance together, each step bringing them closer in anticipation of their upcoming union.
