Ponies – Season 1 Episode 6

Published: Jan 23 2026

In the opening of Episode 6 of Ponies, we are treated to flashbacks that showcase a seemingly happy union between Bea and Chris. However, this idyllic scene directly contrasts with the present, where Bea is heartbroken upon seeing her beloved with another woman. The projection of this image on the wall only amplifies her anguish.

Andrei's call to Bea further escalates the tension. He is livid that she has disrespected him, while Bea is emotional and angry about how he handled the Manya situation. Eventually, Andrei hangs up, leaving the situation between them in a precarious position.

Ponies – Season 1 Episode 6 1

Meanwhile, Tom and Dane embark on a search for more bugs, discovering a secret exit out of the building through the fireplace. Dane's keen observation of no footprints deeper in the tunnels from the fireplace leads him to conclude that the mole must be from their side.

As if this isn't enough, Dane also has to contend with a furious Bea, who is not pleased that her husband was having an affair with a Soviet. This revelation is particularly poignant given that it's Sasha's sister! Dane defends Chris, explaining that everything he did was a deliberate act and that he fully knew about the secret cameras. He wanted the Russians to think they had something to leverage over him and force Chris into submission.

Dane warns Bea that she needs to keep her head in the game or there could be consequences. With her entanglement with Andrei, she should really pay attention!

Bea heads into the bathroom and starts sobbing, but Twila is there too in the adjacent stall. Twila eventually comes clean to Bea that Tom was the one who got Chris killed. It goes about as well as she thought as Bea rushes off.

Bea reconnects with Sasha, who is visibly shaken by his recent ordeal at the hands of the Russians. He reveals that he's been kept alive by the same man who attacked him at work. Sasha shares his knowledge with Bea, warning of an impending raid on the hotel that night. It seems the KGB plans to conduct a blackmail operation, replacing their tapes with ones containing a tracking device. This will lead them directly to the facility, as they failed to extract the necessary information from Caterpillar.

The original plan was for Twila to pose as a prostitute while Ray played the role of an easy mark. However, Twila calls on her new Russian "friends" for help, altering the plan slightly. She and Ray will enter the hotel as business professionals, while Twila's friend from the market will fly under the radar as a night girl.

At work, Dane is growing increasingly paranoid and suspects everyone in the office of being a mole. After seizing some drugs from Shep, he passes them on to Bea, pinning them to her fridge with a note that reads, "Get out of your head." Naturally, she ends up smoking with Sasha.

Andrei naturally shows up at the apartment, and Bea struggles to keep her cool. Eventually, she winds up sleeping with him, but the entire time she imagines he's Sasha. Meanwhile, Dane is chewed out by Bush, who is not pleased with the sloppy job they're doing in Moscow. Bush warns Dane that if he messes up this operation, he'll be fired.

That night, alone at his desk, Dane rips up a tape in frustration. He eventually decides to make a call to an outside line and asks to meet someone.

Returning to the hotel, Ray's actions are driven more by necessity than by a desire for lust as he takes a prostitute into his hotel room. They engage in conversation about the woman's (Yulia's) marriage, and as she begins to cry, Ray reaches for the box of tissues located on the side. Coincidentally, this is also where the hidden tape is stored. With ease, Ray replaces the tape while hugging her. Upon returning home, Eevi is there waiting for him. Meanwhile, Bea shows up to see Twila, eager to share her thoughts. The pair eventually reunite and seem poised to divulge their secrets.

In a more expressive and vivid manner:

Back at the hotel, Ray's actions are more of a necessity than a desire for lust as he brings a prostitute into his hotel room. They engage in a heart-wrenching conversation about Yulia's marriage, and as she begins to cry, Ray instinctively reaches for the box of tissues on the side. Fatefully, this is also where the hidden tape is stored. With practiced ease, Ray replaces the tape while hugging her, his touch both comforting and unintentional.

Upon returning home, Eevi is there waiting for him, a silent presence that speaks volumes. Meanwhile, Bea arrives eager to see Twila and share her thoughts. The pair eventually reconvene, their eyes meeting with a shared understanding that they are about to divulge their secrets. The atmosphere is charged with anticipation as they prepare to share their stories with each other.
