In the tenth episode of Pro Bono, the drama unfolds with Kang Da-wit's trial, charged with abuse of authority. Representing himself, he showcases his usual cocky demeanor, turning the proceedings into a game. Da-wit employs his tried-and-true strategies, but the Pro Bono team, having learned from him, matches his energy. The judge is switched to Judge Oh, who has a personal vendetta against Da-wit for getting him recused in a previous case. Da-wit attempts to postpone the hearing by feigning illness, a move that impresses both parties. However, Jun-u outdoes himself by submitting a form (unearthed by the firm) that Da-wit chose to be assigned to the district where CEO Yoo resides.

Nan-hui goes undercover and confirms that Dr. Oh has made Jun-u his underling. While Nan-hui, Gi-ppeum, and Yeong-sil still feel sorry for Da-wit's mother's case, Jun-u is solely focused on securing his place in the firm. This strains his relationship with the Pro Bono team.

Meanwhile, we see Dr. Oh ordering Justice Shin, Judge Oh, and Attorney Bae around. Attorney Bae becomes the firm's CEO and takes the Pro Bono team away from Jung-in. She begs Dr. Oh not to ruin the department just because of their feud, but he simply mocks her with his candy, leading her to resign.

Jung-in then meets Da-wit and states that if he loses, she'll lose too for supporting him. She doesn't care about the truth, and this emboldens him to fight harder. Nan-hui feels bad for Da-wit, but Yeong-sil explains that justice needs to be given fairly. Otherwise, the opposition will not learn their lesson and will only focus on the unfairness. Just like what Jae-beom is doing to Da-wit. In all this, Mrs. Kang has lost the justice she deserved. Jun-u only focuses on winning as Attorney Bae threatens to fire him if they don't win the case.

At the subsequent hearing, Attorney Choi, the prosecutor assigned to CEO Yoo's case, testifies that Da-wit exerted pressure on him to implicate CEO Yoo. Jae-beom also presents his statement, emphasizing that while his father may not be perfect, it doesn't make him a murderer, which begins to sway public opinion. However, just as the momentum shifts, Jung-in, Da-wit's counsel, arrives and effectively shuts down the discussion by arguing that a judge cannot abuse his authority since he has no authority in an investigation. Furthermore, it's revealed that Attorney Choi has a shady reputation and was friends with CEO Yoo, while the police have only listed a select few "clues" from the crime scene as evidence, suggesting there's no conclusive proof that the cup noodles weren't present.

Meanwhile, Yeong-sil delves into CEO Jang Hyeon-bae's case. Gi-ppeum investigates her financial situation and recalls that Da-wit was the judge who had helped her family. That night, she meets with him and shares this insight. As a result, she looks up to him and even offers to resign, believing him to be a good man who seeks the truth. However, Da-wit is dismissive, declaring that only the winner's version of the story is the truth. Enraged, Gi-ppeum vows to win.

At the next hearing, she intensifies her argument, stating that a judge making a verdict based on personal motives is still illegal. She directly asks if Da-wit's mother's case influenced him. It's a leading question, and Judge Oh is about to stop her when Da-wit unexpectedly confesses. He declares that he did target CEO Yoo to avenge his mother.
