Pro Bono – K-drama Episode 11

Published: Jan 12 2026

Episode 11 of Pro Bono begins with Gi-ppeum pointing out that Da-wit's confession was only about his feelings - that he wanted revenge. She questions whether he manipulated the trial. He confesses that he was going to, but Mrs. Yoo begged him for mercy, stopping him from acting like the oppressors who treated him and his mother unfairly. The bottom line is whether Da-wit's feelings influenced his verdict. Gi-ppeum wants to look beyond Jae-beom's research. Jun-u is overwhelmed by Da-wit's betrayal and the fear of being fired, but he tags along as the Pro Bono team questions the mother of Min-seok, the student worker who died in the factory fire. She insists that Yoo bribed everyone, but Da-wit listened to her. The cup noodles were indeed Min-seok's, but the prosecution refused to list it as evidence. She adds that Yoo would make up false stealing allegations to avoid paying student workers. Attorney Bae wants updates, but Jun-u is conflicted.

Pro Bono – K-drama Episode 11 1

At the final hearing, the factory manager is questioned. There was one broken exit door that wouldn't open. Gi-ppeum assures him that the statute of limitations has expired, so he won't be tried for perjury for the old case. The manager breaks down and comes clean. Through flashbacks, we see Min-seok taking some defective papers that were going to be thrown away anyway. Yoo had called it theft and told the manager to lock the fire exit in Min-seok's area to stop more stealing. If he hadn't locked the fire exit, Min-seok could have escaped.

Jae-beom refuses to believe it and creates a scene, which gets him thrown out. Da-wit's final words reveal that he knew the fire exit had been tampered with but couldn't prove it. It is up to the court to decide if his verdict was driven by his need for justice or revenge.

Fortunately, the charges against Da-wit are dismissed. A team dinner is organized, and everyone enthusiastically welcomes him back, except Jun-u. She believes her dismissal is imminent due to lying to Bae about the final hearing. She apologizes to Da-wit, and soon the conversation turns into bickering as they try to cheer him up, with Nan-hui leading the effort. As they leave, Jun-u is relieved that she has forgiven him and accidentally gets cozy with him. Everyone is amused, and she gets flustered.

Later, Da-wit confronts Jung-in – she’s going out of her way to help him, which means she feels guilty. He’s discovered that Shin met with Dr. Oh, and he noticed Jae-beom looking upset when Jung-in showed up at court. He demands answers.

Meanwhile, Dr. Oh is annoyed with the verdict, and Bae brings in Myeong-hun. He’s going to sue Da-wit for 1 billion won on the basis that he manipulated CEO Jang’s trial. When Myeong-hun meets Jang, he pulls a gun and demands that he win the lawsuit.

To no one’s surprise, the Pro Bono team is disbanded. However, they decide to stick together for Da-wit’s upcoming case. They wonder why Myeong-hun has a personal vendetta against Da-wit. The former judge believes it’s because Myeong-hun had a crush on Jung-in but she chose Da-wit.

Da-wit also checks on Yeong-sil as it’s now clear to him that CEO Jang is his father. Yeong-sil reveals that he cut ties with CEO Jang due to the beatings and is determined to fight alongside Da-wit to bring justice to Jang’s victims.

Jang is called to testify and is so furious that he abuses his housekeeper in front of a scared Myeong-hun. His menacing aura accompanies him to the hearing as well. Yeong-sil stutters and freezes at the sight of him but believes he has to be the one to question his father.

It’s a rough start as Jang is disrespectful, and Yeong-sil relives his trauma as he tearfully testifies. But with Da-wit’s support, Yeong-sil powers through and submits a video of Jang beating his secretaries. Next, Yeong-sil calls his own mother, Yun-hui, as a witness. She confesses to being an accomplice as she would watch CEO Jang abuse and assault his housekeepers.

At the end of the episode, Da-wit calls more witnesses – Justice Shin and Dr. Oh. To back his argument, he releases the conversation that Jung-in’s mole had recorded of Dr. Oh ordering Shin to declare CEO Jang innocent.
