Reacher – Season 3 Episode 7 1

Meanwhile, in Chicago, Illinois, Neagley pays Costopoulos a visit, who confesses that Quinn orchestrated the hit on her. He further reveals Quinn's connections to Beck, noting that this isn't the first time Quinn has exploited another family's operations. Unfortunately for those previous families, their fates were sealed in death.

After their visit, Duffy and Reacher return to Los Angeles, where they scrutinize recovered footage of Quinn's men. Duffy, who had initially conducted surveillance on these individuals, spots something intriguing that could prove pivotal.

Their attention turns to Darien Prado, a questionable character who owns an art gallery and sports a criminal record. Leveraging his shady past, Duffy and Reacher threaten him, warning that he'll face incarceration unless he assists them. With little room for negotiation, Prado finds himself cornered into cooperation.

Prado contacts Beck and orchestrates a clandestine rendezvous in Maine, but Duffy and Reacher, relentless as ever, refuse to sit idly by. They involve the authorities, merely as a precaution, to ensure Prado remains tight-lipped. At the designated meeting point in Maine, Beck arrives to find Neagley awaiting him instead of Prado's associate. This surprise arrangement serves to preserve their undercover identities. Once beyond the eavesdropping range of Quinn's henchmen, Neagley persuades Beck to lend a hand, emphasizing that both his and Richard's lives hang in the balance.

Though Beck isn't privy to all the details, he is cognizant of Yemeni buyers arriving by air and the impending encounter with Quinn somewhere in the vicinity. Villy conjectures that the location could be Sanford Regional Airfield, a discreet spot where the authorities often look the other way.

However, Beck approaches Quinn for information and discovers that the deal is set to unfold at the Bullhead Salvage Yard at 9 PM—coinciding with Beck's very own birthday celebration. Quinn, determined to keep Richard from any diversions like a movie outing or leaving the premises, remains steadfast. Meanwhile, Neagley trails the buyers discreetly, while Beck contacts Reacher, informing him of the deal's location. Yet, Villy and Duffy advocate for involving the ATF, but Reacher knows all too well that their involvement would hinder his quest for justice. Inevitably, Duffy overrides his objections, and the ATF swoops in, seizing control and sidelining Duffy and the rest.

Despite their substantial efforts, neither Duffy nor Reacher is inclined to relinquish their hard-earned stake to the authorities. Thus, they devise a contingency plan, allowing Duffy to infiltrate the ground forces. Reacher's strategy hinges on a precision sniper rifle, enabling him to methodically eliminate Quinn's men one by one. But here's the twist: the deal isn't happening at the salvage yard after all; it's transpiring at Beck's party!

To make matters graver, it becomes evident that this is a setup. However, just as the episode teeters on the brink of revealing the full consequences of this trap, it abruptly concludes, leaving us on a cliffhanger.
