Reasonable Doubt – Season 3 Episode 10

Published: Nov 14 2025

In the 10th episode of Reasonable Doubt's third season, we find ourselves back at the cabin where Kristin unburdened her heart to Daniel, setting the stage for a retrospective dive into the events six months prior. We delve into Rosie's fateful confession to Ozzie, revealing the bombshell about Wendy's supposed affair with 'Big Daddy.' Wendy, of course, vehemently denied any such infidelity, having merely left after a heated argument with Ozzie, only to be met by Monica's unexpected visit. Ozzie brushed her off, dialed Alex, and got high. A location notification soon revealed Wendy's presence at his family's cabin. Alex offered to be the getaway driver as Ozzie confronted Wendy once again.

At the cabin, Ozzie found Wendy tied to a chair with a bleeding forehead. In his drug-fueled state, he started untying Wendy while Kristin pleaded for a chance to speak. But Daniel cut her off, informing her that the jury had reached its verdict and it was time to go.

Fortunately for Ozzie, the jury found him innocent, and his legal team celebrated their victory. At the firm's celebratory soiree, Kristin apologized to Ozzie for missing his trial's final hearings. Jax invited him over for dinner, but Ozzie declined, citing an engagement at another party. His mother summoned him instead, urging a chat about his future.

Meanwhile, Daniel huddled with Jax to share Kristin's confession. According to Daniel, Kristin had confronted Wendy at the latter's home when Rosie and Sal were away. There was a scuffle between the two women, with Wendy hitting her head on a table and passing out. Kristin claimed she'd driven Wendy to the cabin to threaten her into keeping the family's secrets. When Ozzie arrived, Wendy tried to run away, and Kristin fired a shot as she made a break for the woods. Following that incident, she paid Alex to keep quiet and drive Ozzie home. Daniel and Jax agreed to give Ozzie the weekend off before revealing Wendy's fate. Daniel took off to call his sister, while Jax decided to reach out to Chelsea.

As for Lewis's handling of Sam, the character has been nothing short of infuriating this season. Upon realizing that Sam had lied yet again to avoid work, Lewis set a trap for him. Confronted with the truth, Sam tried to spin it as a boon that he was 'finessing' the system and that Lewis lacked sufficient evidence to fire him. However, Lewis had him in custody with cause, and security escorted Sam out. Phew!

The firm's acquisition leaves a profound impact on Jax. After Stephen and Vince's triumph in the trial, they congratulate Bill on his new partnership status and reveal their plans to bring him along with Jax to the new firm. Bill makes a sincere effort to advocate for Jax's interests, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and respecting her contributions. However, Vince and Stephen's motivation is more about the financial gain Jax brings rather than giving her due credit.

Corey and his fiancée, Brandy, arrive in town for a dinner with Jax and Lewis. Corey casually mentions an offer from Stephen and Vince to bring him into the firm and buy out Jax. Though not entirely surprised, Jax is deeply offended.

As the partners' meeting approaches, Jax finds Stephen, Vince, and Bill celebrating Bill's promotion with champagne. Jax is taken aback, especially since the vote on the partnership hasn't been held yet. Her shock deepens when she learns about the acquisition. Bill tries to justify his actions and defend his efforts to protect Jax's interests, but it's too little too late for Jax. She decides it's time to move on and packs her things, opting to start her own firm.

The dynamics between Chelsea, Jax, and Eddie take an interesting turn. Chelsea meets with Jax and unapologetically uses Eddie as a scapegoat to save herself. Later, Jax confronts Eddie and asks for time to decide whether he deserves a place in her life. She is also uncertain about inviting Chelsea into her life, expressing her disappointment in her father for not being a better parent to her.

In a shocking turn of events, Ozzie's life comes to a tragic end as she overdoses in Jax's house after attempting to take her to rehab. Despite Jax's good intentions, her secretive move to enroll Ozzie in rehab without his knowledge causes a rift that leads to this heartbreaking moment.

Following Ozzie's demise, Jax's relentless pursuit leads Kristin to confess the truth about Wendy's demise. It's revealed that Kristin lied to protect her father, who was the one involved in an altercation with Wendy after she discovered the fake sex tape. Sal, with Kristin's help, planned to talk to Wendy and pay her to leave permanently. However, Ozzie's unexpected visit disrupted their plan, and Wendy, in a desperate attempt to escape, was shot by Sal. Despite her efforts to flee through the woods, Sal's relentless pursuit led to her ultimate demise.

Kristin then pays off Alex and Ozzie, still under the influence of drugs, is unable to remember what transpired. With Jax's assistance, Kristin confronts her father and records their conversation, leading to Sal's arrest. Meanwhile, Daniel breaks up with Kristin, and Rosie decides to tell Ozzie's story through a collaboration with a producer.

Jax, on the other hand, blames herself for Ozzie's fate, wondering if the overdose could have been avoided if she hadn't insisted on rehab.

As the season of Reasonable Doubt concludes, we see some rays of hope with Autumn giving birth to a healthy baby. Bill and Sally continue their romantic journey, though Bill begins to feel remorse for his actions against Jax. Lewis, Daniel, and Krystal offer their support as Jax moves into her new office. The episode ends on a dramatic note with Monica arriving at Jax's new office, holding a gun. Jax, Daniel, and Lewis try to de-escalate the situation, but sadly, Monica pulls the trigger... but who does she shoot?
