Secret Invasion – Season 1 Episode 3 1

Meanwhile, Gravik interrogated G'iah about the police's knowledge of their safe house. Although he had previously ordered the execution of Brogan for his suspected betrayal, a lingering doubt persisted in Gravik's mind that G'iah might be the traitor.

Gravik accompanied G'iah to London, where they met Talos at the National Portrait Gallery. As they traveled, Gravik mentioned in a phone conversation that the UN plane carrying the delegation would arrive at Neptune's coordinates that night. Unbeknownst to him, G'iah surreptitiously relayed this information to an unknown recipient, revealing her true identity as the mole. However, the identity of the person on the receiving end remained a mystery.

Talos sternly cautions Gravik against persevering with his diabolical plot to eradicate humanity and seize control of Earth for the Skrulls. When Gravik taunts Talos, declaring that he should have sent G'iah to him in a coffin, the scene suddenly erupts into chaos. Everyone seated around the table rises, their forms mutating into Gravik's likeness. Revealed, they are all Skrulls, loyal to Gravik to the bitter end.

Talos responds with steel in his voice, emphasizing that humans are at their most resilient when faced with adversity. He vows to Gravik that he will expose their plans to all the nations, revealing who their "common foe" truly is. Talos' intention is clear: he wants the humans to understand the distinction between the corrupted Skrulls influenced by Gravik's malice and those who retain their integrity.

Later, Fury meets Talos in the bustling streets of London. There are no apologies exchanged for their terse words during their previous encounter. Fury's tone is urgent as he warns Talos that the Skrulls have infiltrated the US government with a powerful agent. Talos, however, challenges Fury, insisting that he should seek his help by humiliating him. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Fury swallows his pride and acquiesces.

It transpires that the submarine Neptune has fallen into Skrull hands. This underwater vessel is poised to launch a devastating attack against the UN delegation. Fury wastes no time, contacting Sonya with this crucial information. But Sonya, grappling with a traitor within her own ranks, is unable to offer assistance. Instead, she provides Fury with the identity and location of the submarine's captain - Robert Fairbanks. The stage is now set for a tense confrontation between the forces of good and evil, with the fate of Earth hanging in the balance.

As Fury and Talos traveled together, their long-standing relationship spanning three decades erupted into a furious dispute. Each insisted on being the other's savior, painting themselves as indispensable forces in each other's lives. Talos alluded to the covert spy network he led, comprised of nineteen other Skrulls, who had always granted Fury the upper hand.

Arriving at their destination, their carefully crafted plan of discretion was instantly exposed. Fury and Talos burst in, guns blazing. It transpired that Fairbanks had already relayed the urgent message, leaving the officers in the submarine perplexed and flustered by the conflicting orders. When they begged him to rescind the strike directive, Fairbanks mocked Talos, taunting him as a mere "shell of the general" he once was, refusing to divulge the codes that could halt the attack.

Within the submarine, preparations for the strike were at their peak. In a moment of desperation, Talos took matters into his own hands, dispatching Fairbanks and urgently contacting G'iah for the termination password. Meanwhile, at the Skrull base, alarms sounded as a communication breach was detected. G'iah delved into the real Fairbanks' memories, scouring for the crucial codes. With her swift action, the impending launch was successfully averted. Realizing her cover had been compromised, G'iah made a hasty attempt to flee.

However, her escape was cut short by Gravik, who appeared out of the shadows. He trained his gun on her, declaring that "finding the traitor was more important than the strike." Gravik ordered her to turn around, but G'iah, resolute, demanded that he shoot her from the front. Without hesitation, Gravik pulled the trigger, ending G'iah's life.

Elsewhere, Priscilla emerged from the house and headed towards the bank. She opened a vault and retrieved a gun, her expression revealing a mix of determination and trepidation. She was summoned to meet Gravik at St. James Church within an hour, a clear indication that she was part of his shadowy operations.

It transpires that Rhodey is, indeed, a Skrull in disguise! Fury, privy to this shocking revelation, confronts him at his hotel, expecting a confrontation. However, Rhodey's impostor has honed his skills in the art of manipulation. He plays a chilling video, revealing Gravik, who has assumed Fury's form, murdering Maria on camera—a harrowing scene from the first episode. He taunts Fury, challenging him to explain this heinous act to a jury, using it as leverage against Fury's vulnerable position. Fury, realizing the gravity of the situation, backs down and withdraws from the room.

Meanwhile, Gravik and his fellow Skrulls are busy hatching a diabolical plan to pit the world's superpowers against them. This time, their ambition knows no bounds. Gravik is determined to seize control of the situation with an iron fist.

The POTUS arrives in London, and his convoy heads towards a crucial meeting with the British Prime Minister. Unbeknownst to them, this encounter is a meticulously crafted trap as Gravik and his henchmen are lurking in the shadows, ready to intercept them. The fake Rhodes informs Gravik of the President's location, and the attack unfolds on an unprecedented scale, shaking the world to its core.
