Episode 6 of *Secrets of the Silent Witch* opens with a teacher in the throes of distress, for some of her students—Monica among them—simply don't know how to dance. The girl and Glenn make a valiant attempt to learn side by side, but their efforts are met with little progress. Fortunately, Casey, Neil, and Lana step in to lend a helping hand, bringing smiles not only to Monica and Glenn but also to their relieved teacher.
As night falls, Nero's thoughtless remark deals a cruel blow to Monica's already fragile self-esteem. "I didn't realize dancing involved stepping on other people's feet," he quips, though his intentions are far from malicious. Nevertheless, the words sting, leaving Monica reeling. Yet, in a surprising twist, Nero offers to assist her practice, transforming into his human form to dance with Monica. Little does he know, it might be the last time he braves the dance floor with her, as Monica's enthusiastic kicks land countless times.
Monica's mind drifts to her childhood and the memory of her father, a man whose love for numbers she inherited. With his brilliance and ambition, he cured countless ailments, bringing relief to many. But despite his achievements, he never quite fit in, and his life ended in a tragic blaze. Monica fears she might follow in his footsteps, ostracized due to her perceived inadequacies.
The following day brings a new challenge for Monica: a tea party. Isabelle, with her noble grace, offers to guide Monica through the intricacies of high society etiquette. According to Isabelle, there's only one fatal mistake Monica can make—bringing the same tea as someone else. It would be an unforgivable faux pas.
Thankfully, Monica's table includes Casey and Lana, providing her with a means to gather intelligence on their tea choices. However, the presence of Claudia Ashley, a sharp-witted and aloof lady, complicates matters. Monica wonders if she has the social acumen to navigate this tricky situation. In a moment of theatrical flair, Isabelle, still in character, breaks a cup and lets out a maniacal scream after offering her assistance to Monica.
When the day of the tea party arrives, Monica and Casey take matters into their own hands, preparing their tea together. Without maids to attend to their every need like the other students, they can't afford any mix-ups. To prevent any confusion, they place name tags beside their teas.
Claudia makes her entrance first, her demeanor as frosty as ever. She wastes no time in passing judgment on Casey and Lana's contributions, making the atmosphere tense. Among all the guests, she stands out as the only one who refrains from offering any praise for the other teas presented.
Later on, Lana gracefully serves her tea—the most exquisite and costly variety she could procure. Though her intention is to delight her friends with the finest beverage available, Claudia responds with a barb. The girl remarks that Lana ought to have offered a more modest drink, suggesting that the opulence of the tea might make others feel out of place.
Subsequently, it's Monica's turn to present her offering, but fate intervenes in the form of Bridget Greyham. Bridget, who had previously clashed with both Monica and Lana, sabotages Monica's efforts by smashing her teapot and consigning it to the trash. The witch, though tearful, resolves to press on, fueled by a fresh inspiration.
She returns to the table bearing cups of coffee instead, much to everyone's surprise. Claudia had earlier opined that starting with strong flavors was unwise, but since Monica was the last to present, it posed no issue. Moreover, her coffee had no lingering aftertaste and was surprisingly easy to sip. Even the usually aloof lady commends Monica's attempt to bring something novel, though she still criticizes her for not serving tea.
Monica, however, has a fitting retort. She wanted to share something she genuinely loves with her cherished friends. Thus, it is she who feels most out of place. With this, Lana finally relaxes and breaks into a smile. Now, Monica faces just one more trial.
After she and Casey depart from the tea party, they encounter Felix and Cyril, who are eager to teach Monica and Glenn the art of dancing. Cyril takes the lead, his elegance stunning Monica. As she focuses more on his movements than her own, she dances exceptionally well.
Seeing this, Felix concocts a plan to engage Monica in conversation, hoping to calm her nerves and allow her to dance freely. However, this only serves to heighten her anxiety. She becomes so engrossed in formulating responses that she panics. But then, her gaze falls upon the brooch adorning his attire, and she begins to analyze it meticulously. She contemplates every facet, pondering how it could be employed in a magical barrier. Once again, her dance is so flawless that it leaves everyone in awe.
As everyone prepares to shower her with praise, Monica excitedly declares that it's all thanks to the jewel. Felix, feeling slighted, takes offense, interpreting her words as a suggestion that the brooch holds more significance than their conversation. As they continue to debate, the episode draws to a close.
