The episode kicks off with the Bulldogs still reveling in the euphoria of their resounding victory. Elsewhere, Nat (Tasya Teles), a picture of concern, tries to reign in the excessive revelry while simultaneously urging Ziigwan (Blair Lamora) and Miigwan (Keilani Elizabeth Rose) to keep the team disciplined during the off-season. Miigwan, however, foresees a monumental challenge ahead, as the team is fixated on securing an invitation to the ultra-exclusive Weird Sudbury party. As for Nat, her summer mission revolves around ensuring Shoresy (Jared Keeso) seamlessly transitions into life beyond hockey.

Shoresy – Season 4 Episode 1 1

Meanwhile, Shoresy finds himself discussing his new gig on BRROdude's hockey show, "3-on-1," alongside Anik Archambault (Kim Cloutier) and Emma (Vanessa Matsui). Shoresy's confidence wavers regarding his role, and matters take a turn for the worse during a test run. He holds Dougie Gilmour, the third chair, in such high esteem that he refrains from confronting him. A similar scenario unfolds when Marty McSorley joins the panel. Amidst all this, the Bulldogs continue their unbridled partying.

Later that evening, Emma and Anik reflect on their failed attempt with Shoresy and devise a plan to invite Sean Avery, someone Shoresy doesn't hold in high regard. The strategy proves a resounding success, as Anik struggles to get a word in edgewise amid the constant squabbling. Emma and Anik later toast to their triumph, while Shoresy attends the Sudbury Saturday Night event.

The next day, Nat, Miigwan, and Ziigwan make a concerted effort to persuade the Bulldogs to rein in their partying, emphasizing that they don't want to tarnish the positive image they've painstakingly cultivated over the past two years. Ted 'Hitch' Hitchcock (Terry Ryan) suggests that if Nat can secure them an invite to the Weird Sudbury Party, they'll behave better than ever. She pledges to get them in if they tone down their antics in the meantime. Hitch not only agrees but seals the deal with a handshake.

Back on the "3-on-1" show, Shoresy and Sean are at each other's throats once again. Despite the success, Anik and Emma scheme to part ways with Sean after that night's broadcast. They celebrate their victory once more, this time including Shoresy, who seems less than thrilled to be there, claiming he's only present because he can't play hockey anymore.

Later, he confides in Nat, echoing the same sentiments and revealing his fear of confronting the reality that hockey is a part of his past. She suggests he consider coaching with Sanguinet (Harlan Blayne Kytwayhat), but he promptly shoots down the idea. When she inquires about his favorite aspect of hockey, he responds that it's winning, as he detests losing. She then encourages him to view the show's success as a win and its failure as a loss. For the moment, this seems to resonate with him.

Later that evening, Shoresy pays a visit to Laura Mohr, portrayed by Camille Sullivan, and DECLARES that this summer marks the culmination of his pursuit of her. In response, she cautiously reminds him of her parental responsibilities, urging prudence. To ascertain his resolve, she extends an invitation for him to join the team's festivities. Amidst playful banter about his transformed appearance, Shoresy inquiries if she genuinely believes some glamorous, movie-star-like mother figure will swoop in and proclaim her desire for him.

Hardly had the words left his lips when the screen abruptly transitions to Jill, embodied by Maxim Roy, uttering with conviction, "I want him." And with that intriguing declaration, the episode draws to a cliffhanger close.
