Episode 10 of "Single Drunk Female" commences with a dreamy scene, where Sam sits at a bar, sharing her woes with her father. She confides in him her fears of maintaining sobriety for a year and the tumultuous relationship she shares with Brit. As she awakens, her breaths are ragged and labored. The day marks the end of her probation, and her mother assists her in preparing for Brit's wedding.

James, who was supposed to give her a lift, fails to show up, unbeknownst to Sam, he's indulging in alcohol. Upon his eventual arrival at the wedding venue, he fabricates a tale of being rear-ended on the road.

Brit calls for Angeline, the proprietress of the bridal boutique where she procured her gown. Brit insists that the dress doesn't fit, but Angeline sees through her disingenuous claims. Brit seeks to blame the dress, but in truth, she's merely frightened of marriage.

Joel fidgets nervously over the delay, while the guests indulge in libations with ease. Even one of Brit's colleagues takes the opportunity to ask Felicia out. Angeline notices Sam searching for Brit and leads her to the bride. Brit seeks Sam's advice on whether to proceed with the wedding, but she realizes it's odd for Sam to be her confidante. She unintentionally offends Sam by commenting that she's adept at "self-work," but lacks proficiency in "other-people work."

Brit also reveals that she and Joel had a fling right after Sam's father's funeral, during his shiva. Sam wishes her "good luck with the wedding" and walks away. Sam stealthily steals James away, claiming she needs to escape the festivities. He kisses her, and she realizes he's been indulging in alcohol. She departs, and he rushes after her. She reprimands him for breaking their rules; they cannot be together now. James tries to convince her to just enjoy the night, but she insists she's worked too hard to reach this point.

He then professes his love for her, but Sam dismisses it as drunken ramblings. She drives away, leaving him stranded at the wedding. Depressed and disillusioned by those she cares for, Sam retreats to her home to immerse herself in video games. That night, she hears a knock at her door. Upon opening it, she finds Brit, clad in her wedding dress.

Brit, tears streaming down her face, tells Sam she went through with the wedding and is now married. Words seem inadequate to express the situation, so they spend the rest of the night playing video games together on the living room floor. Despite Sam's initial reaction to Brit's confession, the issues between them remain unresolved. However, their individual hardships have inexorably drawn them together, whether they like it or not.
