In the seventh episode of "Sold Out On You," the narrative unfolds with Ye-jin's passionate embrace of Matthew, whispering her longing, "I missed you," before falling into a peaceful slumber. Yet, Matthew's night is restless, haunted by the memory of their unexpected intimacy. The following morning, Ye-jin awakens with no recollection of their encounter, while Matthew's irritation intensifies with every repetition of her phrase and a physical touch.

Their morning jog is interrupted by Jin-yi's arrival at Matthew's residence, seeking Som-yi. Over breakfast, the trio's dynamic becomes evident as Ye-jin resents the apparent familiarity between Jin-yi and Matthew. Jin-yi recalls her confrontational encounter with Matthew, reminding him of his past actions and the harm they caused.
Elsewhere, Eric confides in his secretary, Cha Joong-hoon, that he's opting out of a trip to France. Instead, he heads to meet Director Dong, who reveals they've enlisted other agencies to test their essence before deciding on further broadcasts. In a twist, Eric presents her with a new L'Etoile product – an eye cream – for sale on HIT, with a stipulation: Ye-jin's reinstatement as a show host.
In Deokpung, the villagers prepare for their annual community festival, where Matthew assists but refuses to participate. Jin-yi attempts to reassure Ye-jin that Matthew's help is merely a sense of duty and not indicative of deeper feelings.
Mu-woon's unexpected arrival adds a new dimension to the festivities. He seeks Ae-ra at her Moon cafe, accompanied by Kwang-mo. Ae-ra is impressed by Mu-woon's coffee knowledge and agrees to prepare him a cappuccino, contrary to her usual practice.
As the day winds down with exhaustion from the festival preparations, Matthew returns home to find Ye-jin has prepared dinner. A shapeless omelette, laced with eggshells, sits on his plate. In an attempt to prevent her from throwing the dish, Matthew inadvertently knocks his leg against the table. Ye-jin reprimands him for constantly colliding with objects, including the previous night when he banged into her room's door. It takes a moment for her to realize she inadvertently admitted to being awake the previous night.
This sequence is replete with subtle nuances and emotional undertones, painting a vivid picture of the characters' intertwining lives and the complexities of their relationships.
A flashback reveals Ye-jin anxiously awaiting Matthew's return home, her finger hovering over the 'send' button as she considers sharing something with him. Yet, she changes her mind at the last moment. When he finally arrives, she feigns sleep, offering a dreamy, subtle kiss. However, she remains fully awake throughout the encounter. Now, present-day Ye-jin swiftly retreats to her room.
As the community festival commences, Sung-mi and Ki-hong arrive in Deokpung to search for Ye-jin. Shortly thereafter, Eric joins them with the same objective. Kwang-mo enlists Eric in a competition between Deokpung 1-ri and Deokpung 2-ri.
The first round features a fierce arm wrestling match between Kwang-mo and an opponent from the opposing team. With a subtle wink from Sung-mi, Kwang-mo emerges victorious. In the next round, Sung-mi triumphs in her arm wrestling contest against the other team. Although Kwang-mo is drawn to her, he remembers his feelings for Ae-ra and goes to see her. There, he realizes his heart no longer beats as it once did.
Eric is next in action, participating in a charades game alongside Mrs. Yang. They effortlessly pass the round. Then it's Ye-jin and Matthew's turn, but no matter what Ye-jin attempts to communicate through signs, Matthew can only think about her lips and the kiss. He ultimately loses the game for their team when he incorrectly guesses "I like your lips" as one of the answers.
Later, Ye-jin and her colleagues observe Jin-yi skillfully selling a hairdryer to a customer. They are impressed by her prowess.
The upcoming game was a relay race, with the baton passing from Jin-yi to Eric, and finally to Matthew, who ran the rest of the race without passing it to Ye-jin. Despite his early arrival, they were disqualified! At the end of the day, Sung-mi approached Kwang-mo and asked if she could call him, to which he agreed. Meanwhile, Jin-yi asked to speak with Matthew, and Ye-jin watched them walk away. Sung-mi then approached Ye-jin, confessing that she had come here worried about her, but Ye-jin seemed happy. Eric also spoke to Ye-jin, apologizing for everything and inviting her to Seoul to help her get her job back. However, Ye-jin explained that she needed to spend time in Deokpung to learn how to take things slow and appreciate life's simple pleasures. After she left, Eric received a photo of himself and Ye-jin talking.
Elsewhere, Jin-yi confessed that she had feelings for Matthew, even though she knew he didn't feel the same way. In fact, she encouraged him to be open about his feelings for Ye-jin. When he returned home, he found Ye-jin waiting for him. He gave her pain relief spray and revealed that he had seen her twist her ankle the day before, which is why he had run the race for her. She questioned his behavior, and he, in turn, asked her about the day she kissed him.
She admitted that she had been waiting for him but when he came home, her heart started beating so loudly that she pretended to be asleep. She also pretended not to remember anything because of how he had shied away from her touch the next day. In response to her rambling, Matthew leaned in and kissed her.
