She lies that she is checking on Victoria, and he then sits by the bedside, where she notices he has the lethal injection. She tries to persuade him out of ending Victoria's life, but he insists that she is slipping away and would prefer to die as herself.
Next, she finds Nell and Jules, who help her decide which toe to cut off. Afterward, she heads to the room and finds Nicky, who is visibly stressed out.
