Episode 10 of "Spring of Youth" kicks off with a dramatic scene as Tae-yang dashes towards Sa Gye, intercepting his touch to the microphone midway while he's immersed in singing. In the ensuing chaos, Tae-yang inadvertently grasps the microphone himself and promptly faints, prompting an urgent rush to the hospital. Sa Gye, struck with realization, comprehends that Tae-yang was privy to the truth about his father. Secretary Kang hastily informs Sang-heon and Min-cheol of the incident, leaving Min-cheol in a state of distress as he arrives at the hospital. Fortunately, the doctor assures him that Tae-yang is on the mend.
Bom senses that Sa Gye holds some undisclosed information about Min-cheol, but instead of confiding in her, he flees and contacts Detective Min, his confidant. Urgently, he requests the detective's presence at the broadcast station to uncover evidence proving that Tae-yang's ordeal was no mere accident. Upon arrival, Detective Min discovers that the power had temporarily fluctuated, providing a window of opportunity. Sa Gye suggests that the microphones might have been swapped during this outage.
Elsewhere, Seung-su intercepts Secretary Kang, preventing his departure and alerting the authorities. Sa Gye also engages in a conversation with Reporter Han, who confesses to working on an undercover story about Seo Min-cheol. The expose reveals Min-cheol's alleged decision to prioritize a politician's surgery over that of an elderly woman, leading to her untimely demise.
At the hospital, Tae-yang's vital signs remain stable, yet he remains unconscious. Sang-heon pays Min-cheol a visit, and upon Min-cheol's return to Tae-yang's hospital room, he finds the bed eerily empty.
Back at home, Ja-young recounts to Bom and the others an encounter with a security guard who compelled her to delete photos from her camera. To their astonishment, this guard was none other than Secretary Kang. Fortunately, Ja-young managed to capture a video of Kang entering the security office afterward. Soon after, Kang finds himself under arrest, and the police descend upon Jo & Jo, also apprehending Sang-heon.
Min-cheol, realizing that Tae-yang was on his way to his mother's grave, hastily made his way there too. Upon arrival, he discovered Tae-yang perched precariously at the cliff's edge, his voice charged with emotion as he labeled his father as cruel and expressed his profound shame over his life circumstances. Min-cheol, desperate, pleaded with him not to take such a drastic step, to which Tae-yang responded by insisting that he would step back only if Min-cheol confessed the truth.
Meanwhile, Bom, armed with the video Ja-young had recorded, made her way to the police station accompanied by Sa Gye. They entered the station, where Sang-heon and Secretary Kang were already under interrogation. The conversation inevitably turned to the accident, but unexpectedly, Ji-na and Secretary Kang cleverly turned the tables, accusing Sa Gye and Bom of harboring a grudge against Sang-heon. Just as the situation seemed to spiral out of control, Min-cheol burst in and openly confessed everything. This revelation shattered Bom, who finally learned the heart-wrenching truth about her mother's murder. The entire saga spilled out into the open, with Min-cheol producing a recording of Sang-heon that undeniably implicated him. Bom was overwhelmed with grief and anger, lambasting Sa Gye for not revealing the truth sooner and vowing never to see him again. Sa Gye, struck with regret, realized he should have confided in her much earlier.
The public, too, became privy to this harrowing tale, leaving Bom reclusive, spending her days confined to her room. One day, Sa Gye discovered her room empty, a heartfelt letter from Bom lying on the bed, announcing her departure to seek out happiness. Soon thereafter, news spread that Sa Gye had vanished as well. The narrative jumps to two years later, finding Bom returning to South Korea, stepping out of the airport with a renewed sense of purpose. Tae-yang emerges from the terminal as well, having dedicated himself to volunteering and aiding the sick.
Upon returning home, Bom is warmly embraced by Ja-young, Gyu-ri, and Jin-gu, each face glowing with genuine affection. She expresses her gratitude to Gyu-ri for the thoughtful sustenance sent during her time in the United States, only to be gently corrected by Gyu-ri, who claims innocence in the matter. Ja-young steers the conversation towards Sa Gye, mentioning that she hasn't heard a peep from him since his military discharge, prompting Gyu-ri to deftly steer the topic elsewhere, celebrating Bom's remarkable achievement of having her songs featured by top-tier artists.
Elsewhere, Sa Gye finds solace with his mother at her once-thriving, now-neglected salon, where she has pivoted to selling side dishes due to her less-than-stellar haircutting skills. Meanwhile, Bom and Sa Gye are entangled in mutual contemplation, their thoughts intertwining like unseen threads. Sa Gye ventures into the bakery they once frequented, purchasing a bagel that ends up being gifted to a random passerby—a young woman who, recognizing him, promptly snapshots the encounter and shares it on social media, the image eventually catching Bom's eye. Bom retrieves the fox toy she won at one of Sa Gye's concerts, the memory of his promise of a date to the contest winner bringing a smile to her lips.
Later that evening, Bom, accompanied by Gyu-ri and Jin-gu, embarks on a dinner outing that serendipitously intersects with Tae-yang. She chases after him, her words a soothing balm, assuring him that his past actions were beyond reproach. She thanks him for his steadfast support and pledges to reconnect soon.
In another twist, Tae-yang encounters Sa Gye outside his residence. Sa Gye, aware of Tae-yang's involvement with a non-profit organization, encourages him to pursue his artistic passions wholeheartedly. He hands Tae-yang an envelope containing a flash drive, a treasure trove of memories encapsulated in a video from the band's nascent days, reducing Tae-yang to tears.
Sa Gye then reconvenes with Seung-su, who has embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, founding his own entertainment venture and revitalizing The Crown. However, the lead singer, Sunder, finds himself in poor health, prompting Seung-su to turn to Sa Gye as a temporary replacement. Cloaked in mystery behind a curtain, Sa Gye's voice and guitar riffs weave a magical spell, capturing the essence of the night.
Meanwhile, Jin-gu dials his father's number, pleading earnestly for a meeting with his beloved girlfriend. He swiftly transitions to messaging Sa Gye through his pseudonymous Game Money account, instructing him to bring the guitar to Hanju University, aware of Bom's impending visit there. Intrigued, Gyu-ri steps into his room, and the pair engage in playful antics, only to topple over each other in a heap of laughter.
Bom makes a formal decision to withdraw from the university, deciding to dedicate herself fully to her songwriting aspirations. Her path crosses with Sa Gye once more at the very spot where their campus romance had initially sparked. With a sheepish grin, he hands back her necklace, confessing his turmoil and disarray. Bom reveals that she had been eagerly awaiting his call, wondering why radio silence had prevailed. She acknowledges his secret food deliveries and recounts the promises he once made, pulling out the fox toy as a poignant reminder. Finally moved, Sa Gye surrenders to his emotions, embracing her tightly and vowing never to abandon her again.
The heartwarming conclusion of "Spring of Youth" Episode 10 finds the reunited Sa Gyes playing Bom's song, their melodies intertwining like the chapters of their renewed love story.
