Episode 7 of "Spring of Youth" unfolds with Team Two Sa Gye captivating the rooftop of Bom's abode as they record their enchanting cover. Soon after, the bombshell news drops: Tae-yang has secured a spot in "The Crown." Bom and her compatriots are momentarily taken aback by this revelation. However, their astonishment is short-lived as their own video catches fire, amassing views at a pace that eclipses Tae-yang's. The video skyrockets to three million views, prompting Bom to release the footage that reveals their faces to the world. Sang-heon and Min-cheol are left utterly astounded.
Tae-yang, stung by envy, instructs Sang-heon to orchestrate his rise to fame, a feat so momentous it would overshadow Sa Gye. The fledgling band lands their maiden gig at a quaint town festival, only to be remunerated with a bounty of sweet potatoes and onions. Their subsequent engagement takes them to a ski resort, but upon arrival, they discover that Tae-yang is hosting a fansign event there. To their bewilderment, they realize they were never booked for the gig and have been duped. A confrontation with Tae-yang confirms that Sang-heon orchestrated this scheme.
Sang-heon's machinations don't end there. He orders Seung-su to infiltrate the Two Sa Gye website and erase all incoming performance requests. Suspecting Sang-heon's involvement, Sa Gye confronts Seung-su directly. Unfortunately, Sang-heon catches wind of the message and compels Seung-su to lie through his teeth.
Despite the setbacks, Sa Gye and their comrades make lemonade out of lemons, frolicking in the snowy landscape. Bom reminisces about her mother's yearning to witness the northern lights, to which Sa Gye pledges to fulfill.
Back at J&J, Min-cheol announces that he will take a more hands-on approach in managing Tae-yang's career, much to the attention of Sang-heon and Ji-na.
We then witness Tae-yang's arrival for the band's practice session, only to find the other members treating him with disdain and abruptly departing early. As the day progresses, Tae-yang encounters Sa Gye, who attempts to caution him about the shadowy dealings within their agency. Yet, Tae-yang dismisses these warnings, convinced that Sa Gye's skepticism towards J&J plagiarizing Bom's song stems from mere envy.
Later that evening, Sa Gye stealthily introduces some beef and vegetables into their shared abode. However, his clandestine effort is foiled when Gyu-ri and the others discover the stash in the fridge. In the privacy of his room, Sa Gye dials Bom's number, promising to whip up breakfast for her the following morning. She, in turn, opens the interconnecting doors and, with renewed enthusiasm, inquiries about signing him as her inaugural artist. As a gesture of good faith, she entrusts him with her necklace, adorned with a delicate music box. Sa Gye suggests they name their nascent agency 'Bom Bom,' much to Gyu-ri's chagrin as she eavesdrops from the hallway, her expression clouded with distress.
Descending downstairs, she finds Ja-young and Jin-gu helping themselves to Sa Gye's beef, prompting tears to well up in her eyes as she demands the meat for herself alone.
The next morning, due to the vanished beef, Sa Gye finds himself offering Bom a steaming cup of coffee instead. He then envelops her in a scarf, mimicking the tender embrace her mother once provided. Once she has departed, Sa Gye reprimands Ja-young, Gyu-ri, and Jin-gu for their gluttony. However, upon hearing Ja-young's poignant tale of fangirl devotion, Sa Gye decides to hire her as the band's website manager, cautioning her against exploiting Bom's generosity. Together with Jin-gu, they venture out to procure a camera and a van.
Meanwhile, Kang Seok-hee, lurking in the shadows, captures their outing with his camera lens and presents the incriminating photos to Sang-heon as a gesture of contrition for retaining the SUV against his orders.
Elsewhere, Min-cheol grants an interview for his work as a physician, securing a mention for Tae-yang in the process. However, his euphoria is short-lived as he learns that the elderly woman he declined to operate on in favor of a politician has passed away. It transpires that she was a wealthy and benevolent figure adored by many, placing Min-cheol in a precarious position.
Elsewhere, Tae-yang continues to clash with his bandmates, who steadfastly refuse to acknowledge his worth. During a tense rehearsal, he demonstrates his extraordinary talent, successfully bringing them into line and earning their reluctant respect. Meanwhile, while perusing online articles about Tae-yang, Seung-su stumbles upon an article featuring Min-cheol. In it, he spots a photograph of Min-cheol and Tae-yang standing beside an SUV, identical to the one that has piqued Sa Gye's curiosity.
Shortly thereafter, Seung-su receives a summons to meet with Sang-heon, who grills him about the source of Sa Gye's funds for purchasing a new van and camera. Seung-su confesses to having lent Sa Gye some money. In response, Sang-heon curtly instructs him to retrieve it, sweetening the deal by dangling a five percent stake in the company as an incentive. Seung-su hesitates but ultimately declines.
Back at their home, Sa Gye expresses his desire to take Bom for a spin in the car. Gyu-ri, feeling left out, throws a tantrum until Sa Gye agrees to take her along too. However, when she realizes that his affection for Bom outweighs his for her, she petulantly declares that she will no longer be his fan. Amidst this domestic drama, an unseen intruder breaks into their home and makes off with Sa Gye's suitcase brimming with cash.
Elsewhere, at a bustling department store, Bom happens upon Tae-yang, who is engulfed by a throng of reporters and fans. Just as a fan jostles Bom to the ground, Tae-yang notices her plight and swiftly extends a helping hand, his composure unbroken amidst the chaos.
