Clark's slimy underbelly becomes evident as he encounters a "reporter," who turns out to be none other than Zero, immediately captivating him and securing a dinner date. Unbeknownst to Clark, Pryce is also present, nursing a drink at the adjacent bar.
At their table, Santi breezes in, brimming with excitement at the sight of Clark and expressing his eagerness to turn pro. Clark, however, brushes him aside brusquely, emphasizing the importance of paying one's dues before ascending the ranks. Undeterred, Santi persists, broaching the subject of a Sponsor Exemption. Clark's patience wears thin until Pryce stages a spectacle, berating Clark for his charm that eclipses his mediocre 51st-place finishes in several tournaments, including the infamous Sawgrass fiasco that marked Pryce's "Happy Gilmore" moment.
Thanks to Mitts, who's strategically planted at the bar much like earlier in the season, they settle on a game of shot glass golf. Clark initially emerges victorious, but when Zero starts cozying up to him and whispering sweet nothings in his ear, Santi's jealousy ignites, labeling her a clown.
In a fit of rage, Zero blows the whole charade wide open, revealing Pryce's hustle to secure an exemption for Santi to play in the ReadySafe. Zero's fury knows no bounds, and she unleashes a tirade on everyone within earshot.
Upon discovering Pryce's hush-hush deal with Elena and the $100,000 he handed over, Clark agrees to one final showdown on the greens. This time, Pryce emerges victorious.
Meanwhile, Zero waits patiently at the caravan, where a startling revelation unfolds: the entire episode was an elaborate hustle orchestrated to earn Santi that coveted Exemption. The plan works like a charm, and the team gears up for their next tournament, brimming with anticipation and renewed determination.
