Episode 6 of Subteran kicks off with Cami confined within the cold, steel confines of a police cell. Desperate to clarify the ordeal surrounding Matei's abduction, she attempts to reason with Vasile, but her words fall on deaf ears. Elsewhere, Tanase beckons Dracu and Tili to accompany him to a crucial meeting with Lars. Their journey pauses at the morgue, where Tili and Dracu discern that Tanase is privy to Tili's existence. Meanwhile, Bones and Cornel remain imprisoned in the dim, damp basement, frantically searching for an escape route. Bones harbors regret for devoting his life to following Cornel, who seems blissfully unperturbed by anything, even prioritizing the mission over Matei's rescue.
As for Cami's quest to save Matei, the narrative weaves onward. During her interrogation with Golescu, Cami uncovers a bombshell: she glimpsed a list on Bank's computer, and Golescu's name was inscribed upon it. She accuses Golescu of receiving substantial payments from Tanase over the years, prompting Golescu to dismiss her as a lunatic. Yet, Cami harbors more revelations about Golescu's visits to Tanase's abode. Golescu's demeanor shifts drastically, realizing the depth of Cami's insight. He abruptly exits the interrogation room, leaving behind a trail of confusion. Vasile, who observed the grilling, intends to delve deeper into Cami's assertions and ascertain Matei's whereabouts. Golescu, however, intercepts his intentions. Despite Golescu's opposition, Vasile leans towards believing Cami. He grants her a fleeting opportunity for freedom by allowing her to incapacitate him and seize his key card.
Tanase contacts Cami, disclosing their rendezvous point. She hails a cab and speeds towards the grand Royal Ballroom. Just as Crisi arrives, a clash ensues between Tanase's entourage and Lars' men, fueled by unpaid debts. Tanase grants Cami access to the computer, tasked with retrieving the cryptocurrency. In the nick of time, after Lars' deal concludes, Cami secures Matei's freedom—albeit momentarily. Tanase's intentions, however, are far from benevolent. He seeks vengeance for Crisi's demise, vowing not to release her.
Concurrently, Bones, Cornel, and Tatu burst onto the scene with the police. Golescu attempts to seize control but fails miserably. The police's arrival ignites a chaotic skirmish within the ballroom. Yet, Cami is not unprepared for such a confrontation. As Dracu logs into his account, she remotely commandeers the system, once again draining the accounts, leaving her adversaries empty-handed and furious.
Tanase seems to care less about the money and still wants Cami and Matei dead. However, the eight million in the account is Tili’s money. She has been planning to get rid of Tanase the whole time and that money is her way out. Therefore, Tili cannot let Tanase kill Cami. Instead, when the police barges in, Tili escapes with Dracu and Matei after shooting Tanase.
Cami and Bones are arrested. However, Golescu now works for Tili and she orders him to release them. After leaving the police station, Tili sends Cami a location and asks her to go with only Bones or she will kill Matei. Cami asks Cornel to look after her mother while she heads to her apartment for a change of clothes, but they head out to the location instead.
Tili wants Cami to access to give her back the money, but Cami does not intend to until she knows Matei is safe. However, Tili does not intend to play ball and instead threatens Cami, saying she will cut Matei into pieces little by little until she agrees to give her back the money.
A fight ensues, and in the process, Bones is shot. Dracu almost shoots Cami, but Tili shoots him instead, since she only cares about the money.
Cami has another contingency plan. She has the list of all the powerful people on Tanase’s payroll. If she does not log into the account daily, the list will be automatically sent to Interpol.
Tili wants to continue running her father’s organisation and the list going out would expose her. After getting back the money, Tili agrees to let Cami, Bones, and Matei leave. Cami believes in her plan, since she later assures Matei that they will never have to see Tili again.
What unfolds for Tanase? Tanase becomes privy to Tili and Dracu's treacherous designs against him. Faced with Lars' threat, who wields Tili as a weapon, Tanase remains stoic, even urging Lars to take her, revealing she isn't his flesh and blood. This revelation stings Tili, while Dracu refuses to relent and allow Tili's capture. In a swift motion, Tili discharges her weapon, striking Tanase, who is swiftly whisked away to the hospital by Golescu. Yet, Golescu's loyalty is as fleeting as a summer breeze; he values only those who compensate him generously. Consequently, Tanase is incarcerated for murder, based on incriminating evidence discovered in Bones' abode.
In the realm of Golescu's machinations, he meticulously guards his disguise. When his initial plot to pin Luca's murder on Cami and Bones crumbles, he swiftly devises a new strategy. Obligated to keep his superiors informed, Tatu and Cornel share their investigative findings with Golescu, whom turns this information to his favor.
Golescu boldly claims credit for cracking down on organized crime and apprehending Tanase, exuding determination in his fight against it. He even furnishes Tili with a frozen hand, a grim relic that ensures Tanase faces a lifelong sentence for murder. With the incriminating list out of circulation, Golescu sets his sights on tying up loose ends, framing Tatu for colluding with criminals and hindering his investigation. As a result, Tatu is apprehended, while Golescu basks in the limelight, hailed as the hero who dismantled a perilous criminal syndicate, earning a standing ovation.
How does the saga of Subteran conclude? Bones, his name cleared, resumes his duties as a police officer, sitting alongside Vasile during Golescu's triumphant press conference. While the crowd showers Golescu with applause, Bones remains a picture of restraint, merely occupying his seat amidst the acclamation.
