In the 12th episode of "Surely Tomorrow," Ji-woo finds herself at her office, grappling with the stress of her job. Seeking refuge, she heads to the laundromat and spends time with Kyeong-do's parents, who order food for her. Nam-sook takes this opportunity to express her gratitude for all that Ji-woo has done for her family.

The fate of Min-woo is revealed as Kyeong-do meets Da-hye in prison and learns that the supplier who had been providing drugs to Min-woo was also supplying them to Da-hye. Da-hye gives Kyeong-do the name of the supplier. Kyeong-do, Doo-jin, Bo-ra, and Sung-chul work together to uncover evidence against Min-woo. They uncover a connection between Min-woo's supplier and the pharma company that provided him with the drugs. Bo-ra suggests including video evidence of Min-woo sabotaging Ji-yeon's health.

The group releases an exposé article that provides proof of Min-woo drugging his wife to give her Alzheimer's. This article leads to a police investigation, and Secretary Yoo confesses to drugging Ji-yeon on Min-woo's orders. As a result, Min-woo is arrested and incarcerated.

Ji-woo's mother, Hyun-kyung, finally apologizes for all the years of neglect and wishes Ji-woo's new luxury brand all the success. Ji-woo meets Kyeong-do's parents whenever she feels lonely, talking to them about Kyeong-do. She starts dropping by Kyeong-do's workplace with food packets and treats for the entire team.

Ji-woo is dejected when she realizes that Kyeong-do will not be joining their group for dinner. It turns out that Kyeong-do has been trying to avoid running into Ji-woo, fearing the backlash it could cause to her reputation.

Kyeong-do's parents, concerned about his mental well-being, force him to take a year-long vacation. He decides to embark on a journey to Cuba and beyond, informing Ji-woo of his plans via text. With a brave face, Ji-woo drops him off at the airport but breaks into tears on her way back home.

A year later, Ji-woo is the proud owner of Jarim and other subsidiary brands. Meanwhile, Kyeong-do continues his travels, while Ji-woo spends time with his parents. She shares with them that she has been trying on wedding dresses, making Nam-sook emotional and hoping that Kyeong-do will return to her.

Kyeong-do is living his best life as a tourist overseas, currently in Malaga, reminiscing about his memories with Ji-woo. Coincidentally, Ji-woo travels to Barcelona for work and meets a group of designers. She is reminded of her time with Kyeong-do and eventually finds herself in Malaga. Despite being in close proximity, the two never cross paths.

One day, Jeong-min calls Kyeong-do to inform him of Woo-sik's death in a theatre fire during a performance. This news prompts Kyeong-do to return to South Korea, where he breaks down as his friends say goodbye to Woo-sik.

After Woo-sik's funeral, Kyeong-do discusses returning to his trip and retrieving his belongings with Ji-woo. Despite her feelings for him, Ji-woo urges Kyeong-do to continue enjoying his trip. As he is about to leave the country again, Ji-woo learns of his plans and rushes to the airport to stop him. She confesses that she no longer cares about public backlash and finally professes her love for him.

Kyeong-do, who had been waiting for a sign from Ji-woo, invites her to move in with him. The show ends with Kyeong-do and Ji-woo embracing, filled with hope for their future together.
