Surely Tomorrow – K-drama Episode 11 1

That night, Manager Han-kyung pays a visit to Kyeong-do, who's working late, and compliments their relationship, calling it "cute." Later that night, Ji-woo, despite the pouring rain, makes her way to Kyeong-do's house and gets into bed with him. She tells him that she sleeps better next to him.

The next morning, the couple enjoys breakfast together before their phones start buzzing with notifications. They read an article exposing their relationship, claiming that Ji-woo planned to leak news of Jin-eon's affair to reunite with her ex-lover. Kyeong-do tries to calm Ji-woo down, urging her to ignore the negative comments.

At work, Han-kyung offers to write an article in response to the rumors on Kyeong-do's behalf. At Jarim, Ji-woo starts to be treated differently as rumors of her alleged affair begin making headlines.

Ji-yeon confronts Min-woo about leaking the article and hands him divorce papers. Min-woo tries to gaslight her by claiming that he spent his entire life trying to help the Seo family. Meanwhile, Jin-eon confronts Ji-woo about cheating on her. Ji-woo comes clean to Jin-eon about Min-woo being the person who leaked the news about his drug use and affair. Kyeong-do's parents also watch the news reports about their relationship and grow worried.

The reporters at Dongwoon Daily are concerned about Kyeong-do and wonder why he's not responding to the defamatory article. At Jarim, the board of directors turn against Ji-woo and ask her to step down. Ji-yeon tries to defend her sister, but the directors are worried that the company's stock prices are plummeting due to the scandal.

Min-woo takes the lead and suggests appointing a new CEO, Bae Jun-soo, to fix the problem. The board discusses whether this could be the right move. In private, Ji-yeon tries to get ED Choi to help her, but she refuses.

Kyeong-do shows up to confront Min-woo and argues with him for causing trouble for Ji-woo. Min-woo's brash and arrogant behavior further angers Kyeong-do. Kyeong-do promises to take Min-woo down if anything happens to Ji-woo. He brings up Secretary Yoo and threatens to expose him, which rattles Min-woo as Kyeong-do leaves.

Kyeong-do rushes back to Ji-woo, who is shaken by the scandal. He tries to calm her down before visiting his parents at the laundromat. There, Kyeong-do talks to them about Han-soo's accident and says it's time to come clean about how the accident happened and the Seo family's involvement in it. Nam-sook is shocked to learn the truth about Ji-yeon's role in the accident and how the Seo family paid Han-soo a hefty settlement.

The situation becomes increasingly tense as Kyeong-do confronts Min-woo, and the board of directors at Jarim grapple with the fallout of the scandal. Meanwhile, Ji-yeon struggles to find support as she tries to defend her sister, all while the truth about the accident slowly emerges.

Se-young accompanies Ji-woo as she grapples with the uncertain fate of her company and her future with Kyeong-do. Ji-woo candidly admits that losing Kyeong-do is her greatest fear. The following day, Kyeong-do enlists Bo-ra's help in writing an article about his family's history with Ji-woo's family, long before her marriage to Jin-eon. He shares with Bo-ra how his family started their laundromat using the money Jarim and the late CEO Seo paid to Han-soo.

Kyeong-do recalls learning about CEO Seo's death and attending his funeral, where Ji-woo and Jin-eon were together. As the years pass, Kyeong-do begins purchasing Jarim suits every year to pay his respects to CEO Seo on his death anniversary. In the present day, Manager Han-kyung learns about the article Bo-ra is writing and confronts Kyeong-do. She criticizes him for reaching out to an intern instead of her and scolds him for trying to save Ji-woo and Ji-yeon by taking the blame himself. Kyeong-do insists that he does not want Ji-woo to be labeled an adulterer. Han-kyung fears that their relationship is irreparable.

That night, Kyeong-do returns home and reflects on Han-kyung's words. He recalls his relationship with Ji-woo, from their first meeting in 2007 to their recent moments together. The next morning, Bo-ra prepares to publish the article. Meanwhile, Kyeong-do waits at the university playground, replaying the previous night in his mind.

A flashback shows Mr. Kim driving Ji-woo to the playground to meet him. There, Kyeong-do tells Ji-woo that he is ending things for good, believing it is the only way to protect her reputation. Ji-woo is devastated and threatens to start drinking or taking sleeping pills again. Kyeong-do stops her, asking her to focus on running her late father's business well. Their heartbreaking breakup ends with Ji-woo returning to her car in tears while Kyeong-do spends the night alone at the playground.

Back in the present, Ji-woo and Ji-yeon read Bo-ra's article about CEO Seo helping Kyeong-do's family. Ji-woo visits her father's grave and thanks him for helping Kyeong-do's family, honoring his final wishes. She remembers a conversation with her father before leaving for the US for the second time.

Ji-woo sobs as she speaks to him about Kyeong-do and her love for him, saying she does not want to be a burden and asking for strength as she leaves the country to stay away from him. In the present day, ED Choi informs Min-woo that public opinion has shifted in favor of the Seo family. She says that appointing a new CEO will not work in their favor. They rush to an emergency meeting called by Ji-yeon.

At the meeting, Ji-yeon eloquently shared her father's unwavering principles and how the very fabric of Jarim was woven around them. She courageously exposed ED Choi's betrayal against CEO Seo and Jarim, and publically revealed Min-woo's misdeeds as well. As the CEO of Jarim, Ji-yeon made the bold decision to terminate both ED Choi and Min-woo from their positions.

Later, Ji-woo and Ji-yeon reminisced about how their father continued to shield them from harm. Ji-yeon reminded Ji-woo that Kyeong-do's article ultimately saved the company from imminent danger. Ji-woo, moved by the memory, decided to travel to Paris to meet with Lucas.

That night, Nam-sook offered a silent prayer for Kyeong-do, while he enjoyed a meal with his colleagues from Dongwoon Daily. Kyeong-do, filled with resolve, vowed to destroy Min-woo and reached out to Secretary Yoo for assistance.

Meanwhile, Ji-woo returned home from work but chose not to visit Kyeong-do. He watched her leave before returning to his apartment, filled with mixed emotions. The next morning, Kyeong-do received a call from Da-hye, who asked him to visit her in prison. The episode ends with Kyeong-do rushing back to South Korea and arriving at a funeral home to pay his respects.
