Episode 6 of "Tastefully Yours" kicks off with Yeon-joo disclosing to Beom-woo the presence of Min in their lives. Despite reassuring him that she won't accompany Min back to Japan, that very night, Min reaches out to Yeon-joo, revealing his sole purpose for traveling such a long distance – Chef Tatsuo, Yeon-joo's former mentor, is gravely ill.
As dawn breaks, Beom-woo and his colleagues discover a note from Yeon-joo, informing them of her temporary departure to Sapporo. Accompanying the note is a handwritten booklet titled "Jungjae Manual," containing 135 meticulous instructions tailored for all three Jungjae employees. However, without Yeon-joo's guiding presence, Beom-woo and the team find it challenging to maintain the restaurant's standards.
Meanwhile, Yeon-joo is en route to Japan with Min. During their flight, Min brings up a past incident where he ruined a dish during an inspection by Diamant. Yeon-joo promises to keep that incident hush-hush in front of Chef Tatsuo.
Back in Seoul, Young-hye learns from Han-woo that he's found a replacement head chef for La Lecel. Incensed, she confronts him, but he dismissively asserts that she lacks the prowess to secure three Michelin stars. Young-hye storms off and promptly calls her team, instructing them to prepare for a return to Motto.
Elsewhere, Beom-woo awakens from a haunting nightmare where he witnesses Min kissing Yeon-joo. Shaken, he receives an unexpected visit from Manager Lee Yu-jin, who conceals his true identity from Myung-sook and Chun-seung. Taking Beom-woo aside, Yu-jin whispers about Motto's reopening and proposes stealing recipes from Jungjae to bolster Motto's menu.
However, Beom-woo stands firm, expressing his desire to abandon recipe theft. Yu-jin, furious, reveals the truth to Myung-sook and Chun-seung – but it's all revealed to be a vivid daydream. In reality, Yu-jin tries to dig deeper into the recipes with Myung-sook, discovering the existence of a recipe book. He promptly calls Young-hye, informing her that he'll soon acquire the recipes. Beom-woo, eavesdropping on the conversation, finds himself in a dilemma, wondering what steps to take next.
Fortunately, Chun-seung shares Beom-woo's irritation with Yu-jin's overbearing attention towards Myung-sook. Together, they devise a scheme to eliminate Yu-jin from the picture. They extend an invitation to Yu-jin for a night of drinking, where Chun-seung and Yu-jin soon find themselves inebriated, whereas Beom-woo skillfully pretends to consume alcohol. As Yu-jin succumbs to his drunkenness, they transport him to Chun-seung's garage and lay him down to rest.
Beom-woo's spirits lift upon receiving a call, hoping it's from Yeon-joo, but his exhilaration quickly sours upon hearing Min's voice instead. He confines Yu-jin in the garage and resolves to head to Sapporo. Seeking funds from Chun-seung, who in turn attempts but fails to secure money from his father's restaurant, leaves Beom-woo determined.
In Japan, Yeon-joo discovers Chef Tatsuo in a sorry state, plagued by dementia. His questioning of her identity prompts Yeon-joo to flee the room in distress. Min apologizes, clarifying that Chef Tatsuo has refused to eat, yet there's a glimmer of hope—he might consume Yeon-joo's cooking. Their visit to Le Murir rekindles Yeon-joo's memories, prompting a flashback to her and Min working on a pufferfish dish. Disaster strikes when a Diamant inspector spits out a piece, incensing Chef Tatsuo and prompting Yeon-joo to take the blame and resign.
In the present, Min reveals his impending takeover of the restaurant and implores Yeon-joo to return, suggesting they start anew. Yeon-joo declines, but their conversation is abruptly halted by Beom-woo's arrival. After an exchange between the two men, Yeon-joo pulls Beom-woo aside. After a series of evasive explanations, Beom-woo confesses his visit was fueled by longing for her.
Meanwhile, Young-hye ventures to La Lecel to retrieve her belongings. While an employee fetches her items, she sneaks into an office, desperate to uncover her replacement. On a computer screen, her eyes fall upon a document detailing a merger between Hansang and Le Murir, setting the stage for further intrigue.
As Yeon-joo and Min set their course towards the bustling market, Beom-woo abruptly intercepts Min's car, springing into their path with determination. He persists in tagging along, his insistence undeniable. Upon arriving at the market, a chatty vendor informs them that Chef Tatsuo had recently placed an order for an assortment of sea urchins, adding an intriguing twist to their day.
Later, as they gather for dinner, a brief interruption occurs when Yeon-joo steps away to the bathroom. Seizing the moment, Min and Beom-woo revert to their usual bickering, a spark flying between them. During this exchange, Min unveils a deeper layer of his past with Yeon-joo, revealing that they were once an item for three years and had even shared a dream of opening a restaurant together, named Jungjae, filled with aspirations and hope.
Just then, Young-hye's call interrupts Beom-woo's train of thought. She breaks the news that Han-woo has discovered his replacement, and to Beom-woo's astonishment, it is none other than Min. His anger starts to boil over, ready to rush back inside and confront them. But as he turns the corner, he catches a glimpse of Yeon-joo and Min engaged in a lighthearted chat, their laughter intertwining in the air. His fiery impulse halts abruptly, frozen by the sight before him.
