In the 12th episode of Taxi Driver Season 3, the Rainbow Taxi team gathers to discuss their latest findings in the case. Do-gi shares with the team that Kyung-koo continues to torture the boy, whose plight is becoming increasingly dire.

At the torture chamber, the boy receives a call from the General Manager, who threatens to kill him and demands that he follow instructions. The boy informs the General Manager that he is quitting the job and moving away. In response, the General Manager posts a new job opening online.
As part of their plan, Go-eun applies for the job and is asked to submit a photo of herself. The General Manager sees the photo and invites her to an interview at a restaurant. However, instead of showing up as promised, he calls to confirm her hiring and sends her an address to meet her colleagues, who are all students.
Go-eun receives a package from one of her colleagues, which contains a bunch of IDs and personal information, as well as a laptop with a camera connected to the screen. In the restroom, she informs Do-gi that they can start their plan immediately. Her colleague gives her Do-gi's number and asks her to convince him to wire the money online instead of meeting in person.
As planned, Go-eun convinces Do-gi to send the money to her personal account number. However, the General Manager becomes upset with Go-eun for using her personal account and demands that she give him the money. Go-eun refuses and quits the job.
The ransomware installed by Go-eun also freezes all her colleagues' computers, leaving them unable to work or communicate with each other. The General Manager is extremely angry with Go-eun and takes it out on the dog he kidnapped.
Go-eun and Do-gi wait for the General Manager to target her because of what she did to him. As per their plan, he starts sending food deliveries to Go-eun's address.
To his surprise, Go-eun is ecstatic upon receiving the food and orders even more items. The Rainbow Taxi team distributes food to homeless people and the elderly. The General Manager becomes upset and attempts to hire the private detective from Modu Agency to track her down. Kyung-koo, who is at Modu Agency, takes the order but asks for more time to submit Go-eun’s photos.
In the meantime, Go-eun manages to anger the man even more. He decides to go see Go-eun in person instead of waiting for the private detective. The General Manager tries to attack Go-eun but is unable to get through to her. Frustrated, he goes back home, where he calls his boss for help.
Do-gi, who has been following the General Manager, ends up at his house. The Rainbow Taxi team ransacks his apartment and rescues the dog he was torturing. Do-gi confronts the General Manager for his actions, but the man shows no remorse for what he has done.
Just then, a package is delivered to the General Manager’s apartment from his boss. The man is about to open the package when Do-gi tries to stop him. The package contains an explosive that bursts open as soon as the General Manager touches it, killing him instantly.
Do-gi manages to escape but is disheveled by the attack. He tries to run after the man who delivered the package, but is unable to stop him. Do-gi reports the incident to the Rainbow Taxi team, who try to figure out who the mastermind behind this phishing syndicate is.
At the same time, the man seen getting rid of a dead body in the previous episode returns to Samheung Island after delivering the package to the General Manager. He places the 23-year-old General Manager’s body on a raft and sets it adrift in the river.
Meanwhile, Go-eun shares with the team that she has scanned the registration plates of the truck that delivered the explosive material, revealing its location at a temple on Samheung Island. Do-gi asks Sung-chul to join him on a fishing trip to Samheung Island. They try to book a room at the comparatively empty Samheung Inn and then head out to search for the man at the large Buddhist temple, which is also empty. Do-gi notices that the lanterns in the temple contain random names, almost like an accounting ledger.
A local cop confronts Do-gi and Sung-chul for trespassing, and the two lie about being on the island for fishing and leave the temple. In private, Sung-chul tells Do-gi that the temple looks suspicious. Just then, they spot the truck leaving the temple and wonder if it was a front for something illegal.
As they are about to leave, a man enters the taxi and asks for a lift. He reveals that he is a photographer and tries to make small talk with Sung-chul and Do-gi. The atmosphere is tense as they drop the man off. That night, Do-gi and Sung-chul return to the room they booked and notice droplets of blood near the door. They enter cautiously and find the truck driver waiting to buy fish from them. He leaves the room, but Sung-chul and Do-gi speak to the innkeeper, who refuses to help them. Do-gi notices something eerie about the place but chooses to ignore it.
The next morning, Do-gi and Sung-chul speak to Go-eun, Kyung-koo, and Jin-eon. Go-eun reveals that the General Manager, Kim Woo-jung, had visited Cambodia to meet Lee Gi-hyeon, a Korean national arrested in a Cambodian prison for the Mango Plantation scam.
At the same time, Sung-chul spots the photographer who rode with them entering a boat. Along with him, the truck driver and the cop also board the boat. Sung-chul asks Do-gi to head back to the temple while he goes fishing.
At the temple, Do-gi discovers phones, photos, IDs, and several other items, including a group photo of five men and a woman, along with CCTV footage of the entire island playing on multiple screens. He also finds a pen with the inscription, "Alumni Association of Auditors, Judicial Research and Training Institute."
The episode ends with Kyung-koo visiting Da-som at the hospital and giving her the pair of gloves she was looking for. Maria thanks him for his help, while Da-som hugs him and calls Kyung-koo her hero.
