She confronts her bully for always looking down on her, and everyone is shocked by how beautiful she looks.
In the following days, more students get the jab and start changing, even at school. On the news, the media reports that the president has taken the jab and transformed into his best version yet. With more news about the serum filling the screens, Bella's parents worry about her. She keeps following people online who have taken the jab and is determined to get one too.
Her parents try to talk her out of it, but she claims she's turning 18 in a week and doesn't need their permission. Her best friend, Ruthie, shows up at school after the weekend, proud of her new body. Apparently, her parents paid for the luxury package, which was a heavenly experience. Of course, they had her sign some forms before the whole procedure. She had handsome, charming staff waiting on her, and they gave her a sleeping pill, which knocked her out for the entire painful metamorphosis. She woke up in a bathtub, looking amazing.
As she was leaving, one of the staff, Connor, gave her his card and asked her to reach out if she knows someone who wants the Beauty Serum but can't afford it. Naturally, Ruthie gives Connor's contact number to Bella. Ruthie assures Bella that the side effects are manageable as long as she takes the booster. She encourages her to call Connor.
