In episode 5 of "The Beauty," the story picks up with Jordan arriving at Cooper's apartment. Shocked and armed with a gun, he questions her to confirm it's indeed Jordan. She passes the test, and he quickly embraces her.

Meanwhile, in New York, we catch up with another man, Nate, visiting a brothel. Unaware that Antonio and Jeremy are on his trail, the next morning, the two attack him in his house and demand to know how he got the virus. Reluctantly, Nate tells them about the sex worker he hired from the internet. Despite Antonio's eagerness to torture more information out of him and teach Jeremy, time is running out. It turns out they have already killed two out of the four people Nate has slept with.
Simultaneously, Byron calls Antonio and asks him to take care of Cooper. He doesn't want the FBI to dig up more information on the virus. The fact that they already have an infected person is concerning to Byron.
On their way to dinner, Cooper and Jordan discuss her experience. She feels slut-shamed when Cooper asks if her partner wore protection. According to Jordan, she enjoyed her new beauty for a while. However, she soon realized that beauty also comes with challenges, such as unwanted attention from perverts. Part of her feels ashamed for loving the changes. However, Cooper assures her that she's always been beautiful. He promises they will figure out a way to help her and insists on not going to the authorities as he doesn't want Jordan to be turned into a lab rat.
On their way home, he reminds her that they will have to wait to be intimate again. Unfortunately, when they get home, they find a dead Nate sprawled on the bed. His chest cavity is open, and Jordan is terrified at the sight of the body. She asks, "Why is this happening?"
Returning to three years ago, we encounter an aged, weathered Byron, whose excitement about a new project prompts him to share his joy with his wife. However, she is uninterested and weary of the pursuit of the elusive fountain of youth. She tolerates Byron's presence out of financial necessity, as a divorce would be inconvenient. The next day, Byron informs her that he is flying to New York, with no intention of seeing his son, who is in rehabilitation.
The following morning, a group of billionaire patrons arrives at a secluded private mansion in New York. They are here to hear about Byron's latest findings and speak with Ray. Byron assures them that the magical drug will be worth their time. Ray takes over and convinces the billionaires that the new drug represents the next scientific evolution, promising him a third Nobel Prize. The project's exclusivity and secrecy only serve to delight the billionaires further.
As such, the billionaires prepare to become the first immortal humans. They enter a special room where everything they need for the transformation is ready. Ray assures them that this will be the best day of their lives. Byron insists on keeping his brown leather bag close as Ray administers a shot to each of the billionaires.
After a painful transformation, the billionaires are reborn as youthful and vigorous individuals. They marvel at the beauty of their new bodies, but Byron has other plans. He retrieves a gun from his bag and shoots everyone except Ray. He then heads upstairs, cleans himself up, and sets the place on fire.
Meanwhile, his team of assassins kills everyone except Ray. Once they are done, Byron kills the assassins and takes Ray with him on his helicopter. The episode ends with the mansion burning down as Byron and his team take off.
