The Beauty – Season 1 Episode 9

Published: Feb 28 2026

In the ninth episode of The Beauty, Cooper, Jeremy, Antonio, and Jordan are brought to Diana's presence. It becomes apparent that Franny and Meyer aided her in kidnapping the group from Byron. Diana, who has a deep acquaintance with Byron and is visibly angered by his abandonment of her robotics research, refers to herself as the "mother" of the deacons—robots she has created. She believes she is on the verge of achieving the next phase of augmenting and teaching emotions to her robots from human experience. However, Ray's research has surpassed hers, and now Byron is solely focused on the Beauty project. With Byron planning to shut down her program, Diana is determined to kill him before he can launch Beauty globally. This is where Cooper, Jeremy, Jordan, and Antonio come into play.

The Beauty – Season 1 Episode 9 1

Diana entices Cooper, Jordan, and Jeremy with the promise of a booster—a treatment that would work for them. Antonio, driven by the desire for revenge, is easily swayed. However, they cannot get close to Byron without being detected, and they cannot use the deacons due to Byron's careful coding that prevents the robots from turning against him. This leaves Cooper with one option: transforming to get close enough to kill Byron. With only 48 hours remaining, the group decides to trust Diana and join her in her fight against Byron.

Cooper reassures Jordan that he is willing to die alongside her if necessary but refuses to take the injection Diana offers. Instead, he requests to spend the night with Jordan and have her infect him with a deadly virus. They go out for dinner, where Jordan thanks Cooper and clarifies that she will always love him, no matter how he changes.

After dinner, they return to their hotel room. Jordan becomes nervous and nauseated by the thought of infecting the man she loves with a deadly virus. She tries to storm off, threatening to kill Byron herself. Cooper stops her, and as tensions rise, they passionately kiss. They spend most of the night making love.

The following morning, they check on Cooper and find him just about to break out of his cocoon. In horror, they watch as he tears his way out of it. They expect a grown man but are shocked to see a young teenage boy emerge instead.
