Episode 8 of "The Beauty" commences with Byron preparing his oration for the Beauty Day launch. In a manner that is both self-congratulatory and mesmerizing, he presents his new serum as a monumental leap for humanity, a fountain of eternal youth, and a remedy to physical limitations. As Exhibit A, he offers himself as a testament to the serum's efficacy. If one were not to be discerning, one might think he has bestowed a boon upon humanity!

At the conclusion of his speech, he intends to unveil a vibrant commercial that showcases the Beauty serum as the quintessential solution for aesthetic and all-around perfection. The commercial's final moments feature a voiceover that briefly mentions the virus's lethality, but at such a pace that the public is likely to overlook it.
In parallel, we encounter the group from the Conde Nast cafeteria, currently confined within a quarantine cell. They have all undergone transformations, yet none of them are given answers. Suddenly, armed men descend from the open roof via ziplines and terminate everyone present.
Meanwhile, Cooper and Jordan attempt to communicate in Morse code, but Antonio disrupts their endeavor. He attempts to belittle Cooper for not 'partaking in the Kool-Aid'. Cooper and Jordan proceed to share their revelations with Jeremy, but Antonio swiftly halts their conversation. He urges Jeremy to trust him exclusively.
Upon reaching their destination, Jeremy and Antonio hand over Cooper and Jordan. They are taken aback when the armed men turn against them and cover their heads with hoods.
The scene shifts to Franny and her sons endeavoring to create a new business pitch for Byron. However, Byron is unimpressed and scathingly criticizes them, effectively calling them useless. Franny accuses him of having conditional love for his sons. Byron counters by reminding her that his true legacy and child are the Beauty Serum.
Elsewhere, Jeremy, Antonio, Jordan, and Cooper find themselves locked in the same quarantine cell as the deceased individuals from the Conde Nast cafeteria. Jeremy loses his composure and blames Antonio for betraying him and never informing him about ignition ketosis, which Jordan brings up.
In this way, the tension and intrigue of "The Beauty" continue to escalate as each episode unfolds.
As they did, heavily armed men burst into the room, opening the door to drag Cooper out. They brought him to Meyer, where it took Cooper a moment to realize that Meyer had turned against them. However, it seemed that Meyer had a plan to help Cooper, instructing him to simply follow orders when the time came.
At his office, Byron began cutting financial ties with other business projects he had sponsored. Diana, a high-level roboticist working for Byron at the time, took issue when he dropped her project. She threatened to take it to his competitors, but Byron reminded her of the non-compete contract she had signed. He offered to give her a chance to grasp at straws with 10% of the budget and see if she could outdo Ray's project.
After the business meetings, Byron returned home to find Franny crying over their sons. It turned out that Bryon's harsh rejection of their business proposal had led to an overdose. Franny was on her way to see them at the hospital, but Byron asked her to save the trip and revealed that he had had his doctors give the boys the Beauty Serum.
Franny was shocked, disgusted, and angry that Byron had crossed the line and used their sons as lab rats. She was grateful to have her sons healthy, but angry at the cost of this transformation. She vowed vengeance on Byron.
After meeting with Meyer, Cooper returned and warned Jordan that something was about to happen. He asked her to trust him. Once again, a group of heavily armed men zip-lined into the room, asking the group to jump on board. Cooper asked everyone to do as they were told, and the episode ended with the group being extracted from the quarantine cell.
