The Copenhagen Test – Season 1 Episode 4 1

Fast forward to the present, and Parker returns to the office after struggling to sleep, still haunted by Klovach's death. Moira, sensing her weakness, steps in to plot their next move, aiming to draw out the lone wolf.

Two weeks later, Parker has Hale working undercover to get close to a compromised CIA agent, Saul.

Later, Hale debriefs Marlowe and Moira in the secure briefing area. He realizes that they're intentionally setting up Saul as their snitch. Their plan is to make the Lone Wolf believe that Saul has a hard drive containing proof of a mole within the Orphanage. The Lone Wolf, fearing exposure, will actively seek out Saul. It's a perfect plan, and they execute it with ease. They secretly send a dummy hard drive to Saul, leading him to believe he has something valuable in his hands and starting him on a quest to find a top buyer.

Meanwhile, Hale gets close to Saul and waits for the Lone Wolf to make his move. Under Parker's influence, Moira praises Hale, making him feel like he's earned his place. On the other front, Michelle steps up her game and sleeps with Hale.

On another note, Cobb rewatches the videos of the Klovach ambush and zooms in on the schematics, recognizing his own handwriting. He realizes someone on his team is compromised and shares his concerns with Amin. She warns him to tread carefully and verify everything from the ambush first.

Back to the mission, Saul invites Hale to his house and confronts him about his involvement with the Orphanage. He tries to use Hale as his middleman to get the Orphanage to buy the hard drive. Hale relays the message to his team, and they continue the charade for Schiff.

Marlowe privately informs Moira and St. George about her investigation into the pills, revealing that Rachel acquired them from a pharmaceutical rep who, unfortunately, is no longer alive. They're still in the dark about the chemist behind the nanite lacing. Just then, Frances joins the discussion, warning that time is running out. The technology in Hale's mind is taking its toll, and once it achieves symbiosis, his life is likely to be at risk.

At the bar, Michelle runs into an old acquaintance who has been hunting her down. She denies knowing him, but he's not fooled. Later, she tracks him down and ends his pursuit. After meeting with Saul at a poker game, Hale prepares to leave and wait for the Lone Wolf to reveal himself. As he heads out, he spots three suspicious men entering the building. Instead of leaving as planned, he heads back to save Saul. This forces Parker to break protocol and call him on his phone, directing them to a safehouse where they can wait for an extraction team. While waiting, Saul warns Hale not to trust the Orphanage. He tries to leave by himself and attacks Hale, leading to a tense fight where Hale is forced to kill him.

Meanwhile, Cobb uncovers more mysteries as he examines the evidence from the ambush site. Schiff attempts to use his official position to retrieve Saul's devices from his home but fails. At the Orphanage, Hale realizes that they were the ones who blew up Saul's cover, part of a plan to lead the Lone Wolf to a dead end and make him more desperate for the hard drive.

After the briefing, Hale tells Moira about his seizures and asks if it happened to other Cassandra operatives. Of course, Moira lies and denies any fatality linked to the project. Stressed, Parker reaches out to Michelle and confides in her. The latter listens and advises her to embrace her new side. Later, Hale drops by Victor's restaurant and shares his conflict over whether he's doing the right thing. Victor advises him to embrace the ambiguity.

Back at Congress, Cobb meets with the senator and asks for a chance to speak to the director of the CIA. He wants them to look into the mole in the Slovakia case. The episode ends with Hale visiting Michelle's place. As he looks around her shelf, he comes across a book detailing everything she has ever said to him. He realizes that the Orphanage has always been manipulating him through her. He plays it cool, but the cat is out of the bag!
