The latest hurdle in their insurance endeavors arises with the announcement of Yeo-reum and Seon-man's divorce. However, with the task force's intervention and the assistance of couples therapy, their separation remains amicable. As a token of their gratitude, the couple cancels their insurance policy, ensuring that the policy maintains its pristine 0% divorce rate. Na-rae serves as a reminder to the team not to become complacent, as they still need to meet their quota following two rejections.
Amidst the efforts to rectify the situation, Dae-bok sets the stage for a romantic evening with his wife, who has recently returned from her trip. To his surprise, he discovers that she has deleted his phone number. Upon entering their house, he finds it in disarray, and she is forced to tidy up after him.
After work, Ki-jun enlists Han-deul's help to finish his sister's green knitting project. However, he inadvertently selects red thread, Han-deul's favorite color. He opens up to her about his sister, revealing that she passed away without ever escaping her unhappy marriage. This悲剧 has led Ki-jun to vow for a swift divorce if either he or his partner is unhappy, explaining his triple divorce status. When Dae-bok returns home, he finds his wife, So-jeong, looking desolate. He has forgotten their anniversary and dismisses it as inconsequential. He defends himself, believing his hard work to be a valid excuse, but her expression betrays defeat. Acknowledging his tireless efforts, she reveals her desire for an amicable divorce. Dae-bok is crestfallen, realizing that her initial divorce papers were not a mere joke. In a state of despair, he turns to alcohol and calls his friends, only to find them all occupied.
Meanwhile, Ah-yeong continues to ignore Woong-sik's messages, leaving her in a quandary about her next steps. Seeking solace, she heads towards Han-deul's place. However, Han-deul is already at Ki-jun's, where a photograph captured by an ex-lover catches her eye, urging him to ease up on his workload. Frightened by this revelation, she bolts back to her apartment, but her luck runs out as she spots Ki-jun exiting Han-deul's residence.
Ah-yeong and Han-deul then share a drink together, but Ah-yeong's distress over her tumultuous feelings prevents her from truly contemplating the nature of Ki-jun and Han-deul's relationship. She confides in Han-deul, admitting that while she finds Woong-sik annoying, she cannot shake off her concern for him. Deep down, she fears that all her relationships are destined to follow the same disheartening pattern. Han-deul, drawing from her own experiences, encourages Ah-yeong to stay strong and tackle each challenge one step at a time, reminding her that this is how she herself had moved past her heartaches – now, deeply in love with Ki-jun.
Elsewhere, Dae-bok gathers his closest companions, Jeon-man and Ki-jun, for a drinking session. Tears stream down his face as he grapples with the inexplicable nature of his divorce. Jeon-man and Ki-jun urge him to reflect deeply on his past actions. A flashback paints a picture of Dae-bok as an absentee husband and father, engrossed in his work while So-jeong tirelessly manages their two sons, keeps the household in order, and picks up the slack left by him.
Returning to the present, Jeon-man and Ki-jun gently advise Dae-bok to have a heart-to-heart with his wife, as he realizes the selfishness of his past actions.
At work, Dae-bok sulked as Na-rae announced that the official launch was merely two weeks away. The pressure was mounting; they needed to swiftly meet their quota and iron out any remaining weaknesses. During the lunch break, the task force attempted to lift Dae-bok's spirits by treating him to an outing. Separately, Na-rae pulled Jeon-man aside to confide that she had been appointed CEO of the Singapore branch and hoped he would accompany her as a risk surveyor. Skeptical of her intentions, Jeon-man pressed her, and in a moment of candidness, she admitted that she genuinely needed him by her side.
After lunch, Ki-jun and Han-deul expressed their concern for Dae-bok, who remained engrossed in his work. Meanwhile, Ah-yeong pondered deeply as she unpacked the sologamy kit. Jeon-man discreetly searched for information on Singapore, catching Ki-jun's eye. He suggested that they all embark on a group trip once the launch was over, and the team's morale lifted accordingly.
That evening, Dae-bok sought out So-jeong to apologize for neglecting her. She reminisced about his relentless efforts to provide for them, even when they were struggling financially. He earnestly requested a second chance—100 days to see their plan through, after which he vowed to retire and devote himself to her. Though it was a difficult decision, So-jeong agreed to consider it.
It was raining as Ki-jun waited for Han-deul with an umbrella. To his surprise, Han-deul shared that her mother wanted to reconcile, and she was overjoyed. Back at his place, Ki-jun came across a photo taken by his ex-wife and admitted to himself that he kept it as a reminder of his past as a workaholic who had missed out on life's joys.
