The Divorce Insurance – K-drama Episode 6 1

Once they manage to escape the harrowing ordeal, it transpires that Hyeon-jae is blissfully unaware of Mi-rae's intentions to divorce him. He harbors a deep aversion to confrontations, but with Ki-jun and Han-deul's insistent encouragement, he reluctantly agrees to confront Mi-rae. Jeon-man and Na-rae also make their presence known, with Na-rae promptly criticizing Ki-jun for his impulsiveness, much to everyone's discomfort. Despite the general dislike for her presence, Jeon-man stands by her side, vouching for her inclusion.

Meanwhile, Woong-sik attempts a clever maneuver to pair everyone up so he can sneakily spend time with Ah-yeong, only to be thwarted by Jeon-man, who whisks him away from the female company.

As night descends and they prepare to turn in, Jeon-man delves into a personal conversation with Ki-jun about Na-rae. Ki-jun, though saddened by their past, conveys that he has moved on. However, Jeon-man's fears linger that Na-rae might still be caught in the throes of their past relationship. Ki-jun urges him to abandon caution and embrace risk. On a parallel note, Na-rae openly wonders aloud to Han-deul if she still harbors feelings for Ki-jun. They both observe Na-rae's swift and decisive nature, contrasting it with Han-deul's deliberate yet steadfast approach. Na-rae comes to a realization that pursuing Ki-jun is no longer worth her efforts, while Han-deul, using a knitting analogy, subtly hints at his intentions to pursue her steadfastly.

Back at the office, after Dae-bok's departure, a shadowy figure slips in unnoticed. With deft hands, they pilfer crucial information regarding the insurance policy from his computer, setting the stage for a dramatic turn of events to come.

In the early hours of the day, Na-rae bluntly inquiries if there's an undercurrent between Han-deul and Ki-jun. In response, Ki-jun pretends ignorance and cozies up to Jeon-man, only adding to the already taut ambiance. However, this tension is momentarily disrupted when Woong-sik amazes everyone with his exceptional culinary prowess.

Shortly thereafter, Mi-rae arrives, but Hyeon-jae persists in his monologue about the tiger, leaving her exasperated that these big cats hold more significance in his life than she does. Determined to leave, Mi-rae is held back by Han-deul, whose intervention triggers a flood of emotions in Mi-rae. She pours out her heart, confessing that solitude is the last thing she desires. Hyeon-jae, yearning for her acknowledgment, learns that she had acknowledged him from their very first encounter. He apologizes for his oversight, and she too, expresses regret for not sharing her feelings sooner. Despite congratulating him on the tiger's photograph, her irritation persists. Ki-jun realizes that winning her over will require more than just a simple gesture. Na-rae attempts to halt his next spontaneous idea, which unexpectedly unfolds as a vow renewal ceremony that Mi-rae readily agrees to.

Ki-jun mobilizes the entire village to prepare for the ceremony. Woong-sik, without hesitation, lends a helping hand to Ah-yeong, leaving her deeply touched.

As they hunt for outfits for the couple, the female tailor urges Ki-jun and Han-deul to mutually uplift each other's spirits. Meanwhile, the male tailor advises Jeon-man and Na-rae to cherish each other's company in every fleeting moment.

Woong-sik presides over the ceremony with an inspiring speech about resilience. The married couple joyfully renew their vows, revisiting the memories of their first meeting. Ki-jun and Han-deul rejoice in their reconciliation, but Han-deul's joy is tinged with sadness, which Ki-jun perceives keenly.

At the lively party, Na-rae finds herself suddenly swept off her feet by an enthusiastic dancer. Feeling self-conscious, she is rescued by Jeon-man, who joins her with his characteristic playful and awkward dance moves. In a quieter corner, Hyeon-jae confides in Mi-rae, revealing that he had almost given up on their hike encounter. It was her resilience that ignited his own determination to carry on. They reminisce fondly about their first meeting and pledge unwavering support for each other's journeys.

As the revelry begins to wane and the crowd becomes overwhelming for Na-rae, Jeon-man swiftly whisks her away to a nearby hotel, seeking a moment of tranquility. Elsewhere, Woong-sik and Ah-yeong conclude their evening, persuading a reluctant Ki-jun and Han-deul to depart. As they descend, Han-deul casually mentions that her tarot question had nothing to do with insurance, piquing Ki-jun's curiosity. She teases him, refusing to divulge her true inquiry until she has achieved her goal.

Over drinks at a convenience store, Han-deul inadvertently lets slip her disappointment when Ki-jun evaded Na-rae's inquiry about their relationship. This shared vulnerability forms a bond between them as they chat about Christmas and amusedly toy with an old payphone. On a whim, Ki-jun dials a message to his future self, urging him to cherish this night, much to Han-deul's surprise.

Meanwhile, Na-rae is initially haughty about the modest three-star hotel Jeon-man has chosen. Both are apprehensive about what might unfold between them, yet they end up retreating to separate rooms out of nervousness. The next morning, Na-rae generously awards the hotel a five-star rating, earning a satisfied smile from Jeon-man.

The Divorce Insurance Episode 6 concludes with Ki-jun driving Han-deul back to town. Their conversation turns philosophical as they debate the notion of soulmates. Skeptical, she listens as he cites a study suggesting the probability is not exactly zero. On a whim, he invites her to stay with him, arguing that their connection surpasses mere statistics.
