As the fifth episode of The Family Man Season 3 unfolds, news channels are ablaze with reports of a bomb blast that occurred during Prime Minister Basu's visit to Nagaland. Varaprasad brings up the name of Indian billionaire Dwaraknath, who invested in a news channel that is speaking out against the PM's actions. Yashwant boasts that he can have the Black Ops commandos arrest Stephen, who is hiding in Myanmar.
Meera lands in India, and Rukma picks her up from the runway, with Meera's security team following closely behind. As they drive, Meera orders her security to join Rukma in the car, but Rukma takes a detour, causing Meera to panic and threaten to shoot him. She demands to know what he's doing about their mission, and Rukma assures her that everything is under control.
In Delhi, PM Basu sanctions a mission in Myanmar under the leadership of Colonel Vikram. Meanwhile, Rukma informs Meera that he's awaiting a call from Colonel Zhulong in Myanmar. That night, Rukma and Meera form a bond, with Meera asking him to take care of Bobby, who she believes could be a liability.
Elsewhere, Zoya and Yatish share a drink and talk about Milind, eventually leading to a kiss as Yatish consoles her. The next morning, Shrikant and Suchitra discuss the attack on PM Basu, while Rukma visits Nima's parents' house and asks them to take care of Bobby until he returns. Zoya apologizes to Yatish about their kiss, but he assures her that he didn't mind it.
The NIA receives a video from MCA-S Zhazo, who claims to have incriminating evidence exonerating MCA-S from the attack on David and Kulkarni. Yatish orders his team to respond, eager to uncover the truth behind the video's authenticity.
Meera and Shrikant, both privy to the same video, claim to have sources within the NIA who shared it with them. JK enlists Punit to trace the location from which Zhazo sent the video. Meera, in the meantime, reaches out to her cyber expert in the UK, Lloyd, to uncover the source's identity.
Rukma and Meera embark on a journey to Myanmar, where they meet Colonel Zhulong. After handing over the money, the colonel bestows upon them 20 trained soldiers to execute their next move in the plan.
Shrikant discovers that Zhazo is the girl who visited David and decides to follow her. Meanwhile, Lloyd informs Rukma's men of Zhazo's whereabouts. Shrikant engages Zhazo in conversation, urging her to persuade Stephen to reach out to her. However, Rukma's men come calling, only for Shrikant to realize that Zhazo is one of Stephen's supporters and saves her from harm.
That night, PM Basu and her team witness live footage of Colonel Vikram attempting to rescue the Indians in Myanmar. The soldiers are ambushed and taken hostage by Myanmar soldiers, leaving PM Basu and her team in shock at their mission's failure. The episode concludes with Shrikant and JK being abducted by masked goons, their fates uncertain as the screen fades to black.
