Back at the temple, the confrontation with the thugs is swiftly resolved thanks to the abbot's foresight in recording the entire incident. The revelation comes that Lee Sang-yeon, the innocent altar boy, was the whistleblower who alerted Hae-il to the impending danger. Over dinner, Hae-il and Sang-yeon engage in their usual sparring match, their bond characterized by playful bickering. Detective Gu joins them, adding his voice to the chorus of disagreements, reminding Hae-il of his territorial limits in covering up for the priest's antics within the Gudam precincts.

The Gudam crew reconvenes for dinner, their minds wandering to the whereabouts of Detective Seo Seung-ah and the absent Kyung-sun. The gathering is tinged with nostalgia as they prepare to commemorate Father Lee's fifth memorial service the following day, their hearts heavy with his absence. As night falls, Sang-yeon's journey home turns treacherous when he's waylaid by a group of bullies.

The narrative shifts to Kyung-sun, who enjoys a dinner date unaware that her companion is a drug dealer. The tranquil meal is shattered by the arrival of the police, initiating a shootout. Kyung-sun's date seizes her as a hostage, but she effortlessly overpowers him. However, fate deals her a cruel hand as the authorities mistake her for his accomplice and arrest her.

While Hae-il is honored with an invitation to a prestigious seminar in Busan, a shadowy dealer concludes a deal with a VIP in a sleek club. Outside, a fiery young woman, impatient and eager to enter, awaits the dealer. He, an undercover informant, dissuades her from joining, only moments before the police raid the venue. Inside, the VIP, Kim In-seok, is caught in the act of assaulting a young woman, his dark actions exposed under the club's neon glow.

He finds himself ensnared in the clutches of justice, yet the prosecutor, Nam Du-heon, stands revealed as a corrupt figure, entangled in a web of deceit with Kim Man-cheon, In-seok's influential political father. As Du-heon connives to resolve the situation with a dishonest policeman, a startling revelation unfolds: the mob boss, Park, betrays his clients by turning them in to the authorities. Furthermore, Park is not only distributing drugs to Gudam but is also being pressured by Du-heon to cease his operations. It seems that Park has found a new, perilous supplier—a notorious drug dealer hailing from Southeast Asia.

The following morning, In-seok walks free on bail, amidst news claims that he was drugged by a supposed friend. Returning to Father Lee's memorial service, Sang-yeon arrives in a trance-like state, his mind clouded with turmoil. Hae-il, though concerned, continues with the solemn ceremony, believing firmly that a peaceful world necessitates equality in all aspects, including punishment for the mighty and the meek alike.alls into a coma. The prognosis is grim; the chances of him regaining consciousness are slim. The Gudam crew learns from medical reports that Sang-yeon's heart condition was exacerbated by a drug known as hepanyl. Detective Gu, distressed by this revelation, initiates an investigation.

News of Sang-yeon's plight spreads far and wide, highlighting hepanyl as a new, pervasive drug among teenagers. Du-heon, informed of this development, is incensed, fearing it may derail his meticulously crafted plans. He contacts Kim Man-cheon and orders his men to seize control of Sang-yeon's case. The Gudam crew, aware of the prosecution's intent to sweep the matter under the rug, is incensed and resolves to conduct their own investigation, determined to uncover the truth hidden in the shadows.

Elsewhere, Gerald, the middleman of Gudam, viciously attacks Jang Si-tae, the bully, for disrupting Sang-yeon's affairs. The following morning, all news articles concerning Sang-yeon have vanished, replaced by malicious rumors circulating throughout the school that paint him as a drug addict. Hae-il, disturbed by these false accusations, confronts his classmates, asserting that gossip is as harmful as drug abuse. Wang-yu, a close friend of Sang-yeon's, comes to Hae-il with the truth – it was all orchestrated by Si-tae.

Meanwhile, Songsak marshals his delivery boys to keep a vigilant watch for any suspicious activities. Despite several comical mishaps, they eventually track down Si-tae. Songsak, Gu, and Hae-il storm his hideout and administer a well-deserved beating to the bullies. Under duress, Si-tae confesses that during a deal, Sang-yeon stumbled upon them and snapped a photo. They apprehended him, smashed his phone, and, to prevent him from exposing them, forced him to ingest a pill, hoping it would turn him into a drug addict.

Hae-il, at his wits' end, demands the name of the dealer. Si-tae refuses, confident in his own safety, but Hae-il's Pretense of being possessed by a demon strikes fear into his heart. Trembling, Si-tae reveals Gerald's involvement, leading to a fierce battle at the dealer's lair. Songsak, Gu, and Hae-il overpower the adversaries and force them to perform squats as punishment.

As for Gerald, the Gudam trio subjects him to severe interrogation until he spills the beans on "Busan Fire Eel." By the time the authorities and reporters are notified, the Gudam crew has vanished, leaving Du-heon bewildered by the unfolding events.

That night, Hae-il prays fervently to God when Father Lee's memorial photograph topples over, interpreting it as a divine sign to dismantle the Busan drug cartel.
