In the present, Cole and Rose are engrossed in their lab endeavors, churning out batches with relentless effort. However, Markus remains steadfast in his refusal to unleash their creations into the world. Cole's mind is clouded with anxieties regarding the looming terrorist threat they are inadvertently arming. Rose, sensing his turmoil, proposes a daring strategy: crafting a defective batch to stall the proceedings. Cole, fully invested in the plan, acknowledges the inherent risks.

Elsewhere, Peter and Noor traverse towards the UN building, with Noor counseling Peter to seek out Lars Troost, the Principal Advisor to the Secretary-General. Once Noor concludes her task, she urges Peter to reunite with his mother, Saidi, and notify her of their progress. Peter, filled with regret, bids her farewell and they part ways.

Utilizing a stolen IT key card, Peter slips into the Secretary-General's office and accesses his computer. However, his charade is swiftly uncovered by Lars, forcing Peter to pivot his strategy. Employing minimal force, Peter coaxes Lars into spilling the beans on the location of the elusive file. Due to its vintage, the file has been archived, prompting Peter to use Lars as a pawn to gain access. However, Lars attempts to sound the alarm, but Peter narrowly escapes with the precious documents in hand.

Concurrently, Abbas strives to clarify to Javad how Noor managed to slip through their fingers. Javad, suspicious of Abbas's loyalty, accuses him of betrayal. Abbas vehemently denies the allegations and provides Javad with a potential clue to Noor's whereabouts. Haleh, eavesdropping on their conversation, hastily dials Noor to warn her of Javad's impending arrival at the UN building.

Fortunately, by the time Haleh's warning reaches Noor, she has already alerts one of the Secretaries and entrusted her with the files. Noor swiftly makes her exit but unexpectedly encounters Javad. He attempts to abduct her, but Noor cleverly orchestrates a scenario that leads to a street brawl, buying her precious time to escape. She seizes the moment of distraction to make her escape and stumbles upon Saidi, who promptly whisks her away to the safety of her mother's side. Javad manages to return to the embassy, only to be met with astonishment as Abbas wields footage of him and Noor engaging in subtle flirtations, accusing him of betrayal. With Haleh and her spouse's assistance, they meticulously portray Javad as a victim of Noor's cunning trap, duped into compliance. Initially, Javad dismisses it as a mere jest, but Abbas reinforces his accusation by highlighting Javad's decision to bring the list to his office instead of entrusting it to Abbas's safekeeping. Ultimately, Javad is escorted away, awaiting deportation to face the consequences of his alleged treacherous deeds.

As Peter makes his exit from the UN, Catherine catches sight of him. Determined to trail him, she attempts to follow, only to be intercepted by Solomon. He directs her towards the parking lot, but Catherine, fighting back with all her might, terminates his threat.

Meanwhile, at the chemical lab, Markus catches onto Cole and Rose's playful antics. He leverages Cole's wife by mentioning her and then brutally stabs a figure—a stark reminder of his serious intent. Cornered and with no escape, Cole resumes his focus on producing the correct batch. Markus entrusts his men with overseeing the operation and steps away to contact Viktor. He conveys the news of Tomas' demise, asserting its necessity; though Viktor is no more, life persists, fueled by a vengeful mission. With Viktor's blessing, Markus receives the green light to proceed.

Meanwhile, Peter makes his approach to Jacob, presenting him with the file, yet curiosity piques him first. "What secrets does this folder hold?" he inquires. Jacob unravels the mystery, elucidating that the file serves as concrete evidence of the Secretary-General's meddling in Viktor Bala's case. It contains irrefutable proof that Viktor acquired the K.X poison, which he administered to his people, from the CIA. Jacob laments his inability to uncover this evidence alone, but expresses gratitude now that Peter has entrusted it to him. Upon verifying the file's presence on the drive, Jacob imparts to Peter the location of Rose and the chemical laboratory, vowing to shield him from harm, erase his fingerprints, and scrub any CCTV footage of him from the UN premises. As a gesture of welcome into his organization, he hands Peter a phone.

Following their meeting, Peter dials Catherine's number, relaying the coordinates of the clandestine lab. Concurrently, Rose and Cole seize the opportunity of Markus's absence to formulate a novel chemical compound aimed at incapacitating the guards. Masked and determined, they embark on a rescue mission for Cole's wife and daughter. However, they encounter a larger contingent of guards than anticipated, resulting in a harrowing turn of events where Rose and Cole's wife are unable to escape. Cole, with his daughter's safety secured, doubles back to attempt a rescue for his wife and Rose.

In a fortuitous twist, Cole's daughter stumbles upon Peter, handing him her mask and receiving directions to safety. Boldly, Peter ventures inside, discovering an unconscious Cole. Mercifully, he locates Rose and Cole's wife concealed within one of the vehicles. As Peter struggles to fight their way out, the police converge on the laboratory, arriving just as Rose, Peter, and Cole's wife narrowly escape.

Rose swiftly debriefs Catherine on the quantity of K.X batches produced, Tomas's untimely demise, and Markus's departure with the batches alongside his men. Rose speculates that Markus is steering towards the UN, prompting Peter to elucidate the Bala family's motive in targeting the United Nations. The episode concludes on a tense note, with Markus and his men already installing the K.X-laden ventilation grilles within the UN's rooftop air conditioning system, setting the stage for an imminent crisis.
