The Night Agent – Season 3 Episode 6 1

Fast forward to the present, Peter enlists Adam's help to spy on Monroe and Isabel. Using facial recognition, they track down Monroe and follow him and Isabel to a secluded mansion outside of town. As they observe, Peter and Adam begin to suspect that Monroe might be a CIA agent working for one of the government's intelligence agencies.

Meanwhile, Theo flips out when Chelsea confesses to stealing Brian's phone from the First Lady's desk. Although he promises to have her back, he demands that she either return the phone or tell Patterson about it. She calls Peter and shares her theory, and he advises her to stick with it. He even offers to send her his address in case things blow up and she needs a place to lay low.

Simultaneously, Adam uses a spy program to eavesdrop on Isabel and Monroe's conversation. Peter scales the fence and positions himself for a clear view. They quickly discover that Monroe is Isabel's father.

At the motel, the Father is distracted during a phone call with his client. He accidentally gives his son the wrong room key card, leading him to discover a hidden stash of weapons and disguises.

Back at the mansion, Isabel confronts Monroe, treating him as a hostile suspect. She reveals that she's been investigating him and accusing him of putting a hit on her and killing Mike. Of course, Monroe denies this and reveals that he's battling cancer. He even removes his wig to show his sincerity. He asks her to stay back while he goes to deal with the person he suspects is behind the hits. He promises to return and explain everything.

Peter instructs Adam to keep an eye on Monroe while he keeps an eye on Isabel. Inside the house, Isabel realizes that Jay is being held in the second guest room. She calls Peter and asks for his help. He pretends to still be in the city and on his way.

At the motel, the Son confronts the Father about his secretive job. Believing the dad to be a spy agent, the Son's old man plays along. He prepares for another mission and heads to Monroe's lavish mansion.

Monroe, meanwhile, meets with Freya, the CEO of Walcott Capital. It turns out she hired the Father to eliminate Isabel and anyone else who tries to expose her business's unethical practices. Monroe offers to reopen his accounts, but Freya refuses his offer. He even proposes a compromise where Isabel would back off and trade Jay, but she still declines. Once he leaves, she calls the Father and orders him to kill everyone, including Monroe.

At the White House, Hagan worries that his wife is still traumatized from the incident. He mentions that Chelsea is also traumatized and found her in the study. Jenny quickly checks for Brian's phone and discovers it's missing. She realizes that Chelsea is onto her.

At the mansion, Isabel distracts the guards while Peter sneaks in. Jay is relieved to see him but is more concerned about his recent discovery of a second attack. Simultaneously, the Father arrives and starts killing the guards. He ends up shooting Jay and trapping Isabel in a fire in the guest house. Fortunately, they manage to escape. The episode ends with Peter asking Isabel to call her dad.
