In the beginning of Episode 11 of The Pitt season 2, we see Roxie passing away. Javadi and McKay converse about this, and Javadi feels that the timing and manner of Roxie's passing are not right. McKay, however, disagrees, pointing out that Roxie had control over how she wanted to go, which is more than most of us get.

The Pitt – Season 2 Episode 11 1

Meanwhile, Mel questions Becca about her personal life. Becca has been with Adam for six months now, and Mel is not happy. She wants to know if Becca has been coerced into sex and loses her temper. Becca is scared, and Langdon steps in to prevent this from escalating.

Langdon calms Mel down outside, who brings up the topic of Supportive Decision Making, which gives Becca the power to make her own decisions. However, a car speeds in with a nonresponsive boy. Mel and Langdon rush inside while his mother seems quite nonchalant about the whole situation. She could be hiding something or just suffering from shock.

According to the boy's mother, she found him in the car, asleep. She claims he was in there for 20 minutes, but he has a very high temperature, so they put him in an ice bath (and call for a paediatric body bag too!) but it's not looking good.

Mel returns to Becca a little calmer this time. She apologizes for shouting, but Becca is not in the forgiving mood. She explains that she's the one who wanted to have sex with Adam. She even spoke to her therapist about this too. For now though, Becca is ready to leave the hospital, prompting Mel to feel like she's losing her sister.

Meanwhile, McKay brings Ogilvie outside to handle a street team case. It's a woman called Kiki and she's in a pretty rough way.

Mel bumps into Robby, only to have McKay burst back in and steal his attention. Robby is not pleased that Ogilvie was taken away from him, especially when he realizes that it was during that time that Roxie passed away. Both of them are further distracted when two ICE agents arrive with an illegal immigrant named Pranita. She fell during a raid when she tried to flee, but she needs to be seen before she's processed at the nearby detention center. She requires an X-ray, as it seems she has a rotator cuff tear. This could also be accompanied by a fracture, which could take a while to heal. Robby is uneasy about having these agents around, and tries to fast-track her care. News spreads to the waiting room too, where people start leaving in fear. Furthermore, it seems like Pranita actually has a daughter, but she's not allowed to make a call until she's processed.

Meanwhile, Mohan is back on the beat, and Joy tries to reassure her about the panic attacks. She heads straight back to Ms. Torres, the lady with leg pain, where it seems like she may actually have a blood clot after a 15-hour bus journey.

While Dana rattles off updates on different patients for Baran, we learn that Howard has survived his surgery! Labs and X-rays are still behind though, which is to be expected. Whitaker shows up to see Santos, who's still unhappy about Langdon being back. She's also quite nonchalant about picking up a food poisoning patient and another with a nasty elbow injury. Still, she tags along with Whitaker all the same.

The man with a shattered elbow, loathe to swallow painkillers, endured excruciating agony as his bone was set back in place. His screams echoed through the Emergency Room, all the while he clutched his baseball, a steadfast companion in his time of need. Dr. Santos's subsequent avoidance of paperwork was met with Mel's annoyance, to no one's surprise.

Meanwhile, Ogilvie's kidney-stone patient found himself in a predicament. Unconscious and rushed to the ER, it became apparent there had been a miscommunication with the ultrasound results. Dr. Shamsi joined forces with him to assist the patient. Outside, Robby chewed out Mohan for missing this alongside Ogilvie, emphasizing the importance of keeping personal life separate from the hospital.

Robby didn't take long to lash out at the ICE agent chilling by the reception area, bringing up how they're scaring away patients. The agent retreated to their patient... but there was a catch. When they tried to detain Pranita before she received medical attention, one of the nurses, Jessie, ended up arrested for getting involved and wrestling with the agent.

Both Jessie and Pranita were taken from the hospital to the nearest detention center, while Baran managed to save the mother of an overheated child from committing suicide. She was taken to a separate psych area, away from her son. Dana caught up with Mel amidst this chaos, who was struggling. Mel was spiraling, believing she'd be alone as Becca moved forward with her life. Dana listened and reassured her that Becca's situation wasn't about her at all and she needed to pull herself together.

Meanwhile, Robby spoke to Duke whose X-Ray revealed inflamed thyroids, requiring a CT scan of his chest. Robby refused to leave until he ensured Duke was okay, but it didn't look good.

Langdon knew he needed to clear the air with Santos and showed up to speak with her. He apologized for his behavior but she showed her true colors, incredulously scoffing at his "nice guy" act. Santos shouted at him and pointed out how he basically deserved losing his wife and potential custody of his children. Santos was never going to forgive him and stormed off.

As the episode drew to a close, Emma checked on a drunken patient who had been brought in earlier but knocked out for being too aggressive. He awoke and immediately put her in a headlock.
