As the 10th episode of The Price of Confession unfolds, Mo Eun awakens in the hospital, the victim of a brutal attack by Ko Dong-uk, Se-hun's enigmatic grandfather. The police, now aware of Yun-su's presence at the hospital, form a dedicated team to track her down, led by the relentless Dong-hun, Detective Ryu, and the astute Bae Sun-deok. Though they know Ko Dong-uk was the culprit in both attacks, they choose to focus their efforts elsewhere.

Dong-hun stumbles upon an article on Kang So-hae and So-mang, penned by Reporter Hong. The article hints at an anonymous tipster, and he suspects this mysterious messenger might have a personal stake in the case. Suddenly, the police receive an urgent call from Yun-su's phone, its location pinpointing Ko Dong-uk's residence. In the call, she pleads for help, and they rush to his house to find her phone lying on the floor. CCTV footage reveals she had come to the house, laced Ko Dong-uk's dog with a sedative, and then vanished into thin air.
Dong-hun suspects someone informed Dong-uk of Yun-su's involvement and Mo Eun's hospitalization. But Dong-uk vehemently denies any knowledge. It's at this moment that Detective Ryu spots Yun-su's jacket, the same one Jeong-gu had been wearing, and it belongs to Jeong-gu's boxing gym. The detectives rush there to find a painting left by Yun-su—a chilling depiction of Se-hun's demise, as Mo Eun had witnessed it.
Jeong-gu remains unconvinced of her guilt, but Dong-hun is more certain than ever that Yun-su is the culprit. Just then, they receive pictures of Yun-su around Se-hun's house, further implicating her. Meanwhile, Ko Dong-uk burns the photos of Yun-su that were sent to him; we learn that Yun-su had stolen his phone, which contained those very photos. She used it to send the pictures to the police—a secret Ko Dong-uk didn't reveal to the detectives.
Later, the forensic team restores Yun-su's digital camera, and Dong-hun discovers pictures of Se-hun faking his death for Yun-su. However, these images don't match up with the autopsy report or the painting left by Yun-su. This realization finally persuades Dong-hun to grant Jeong-gu's request and speak with Mo Eun.
They pay a visit to her in the hospital, where Mo Eun elucidates that the photograph taken by Yun-su was an altered version of the actual body, revealing that Dong-hun was aware of this but chose to keep it a secret from Jeong-gu. She then accuses Dong-hun of harboring prejudices against Yun-su.
Detective Ryu informs them that Yun-su was spotted at the university where her husband's work is being exhibited. Dong-hun, now deeply questioning himself, goes there to retrace her steps. As he pauses by a painting titled "Sokoboako," which appears to be a donation from Jin Young-in and his wife, a sense of coincidence arises. While he is contemplating it, Yun-su publishes a video online, confessing to killing her husband and making a deal with Mo Eun. However, she claims she did not kill Se-hun and accuses the prosecution of ignoring crucial dash cam footage that evidences the existence of a third party. Dong-hun realizes that Yun-su is attempting to send a message.
The two lawyers and Dong-hun return to the police station, where Detective Ryu clarifies that they have not received any dashcam footage and that Yun-su's video is a lie. Jeong-gu realizes that Dong-hun knows something. Suddenly, Sun-deok learns that Sop has been kidnapped; someone saw an old man taking her away.
At the hospital, Officer Eom escorts Mo Eun to see Hui-yeong, who wants to express his gratitude for saving her life. Hui-yeong shares with Mo Eun how Se-hun began creating deepfakes of girls and selling them for money, enlisting an assistant—the boy who visited Hui-yeong in prison, initially hired by Se-hun to take care of his cats. Apparently, the boy told Hui-yeong he witnessed Se-hun's murder.
Just as Mo Eun inquires about the killer of Se-hun, the camera shifts to Jin Young-in, who is perusing Yun-su's drawings at the police station.
