The Price of Confession – K-drama Episode 11 1

Yun-su makes her way to the exhibition showcasing her husband's paintings, where she comes face-to-face with a work that mirrors her own back. A subtle fingerprint catches her eye, a new addition since her last visit. Just as she is about to ponder further, Jin Young-in, a university professor, approaches, offering assistance. But a video of the university featuring both Young-in and Ki-dae causes her to rethink her approach and leave abruptly.

As Yun-su makes her way out, she brushes shoulders with Young-in's wife, who seems to recognize her. The moment triggers a vivid image in Yun-su's mind—the hooded figure that has been following her everywhere. Back at the boxing gym, she muses over why Young-in kept her in the dark about his knowledge of her husband. Could he have killed Ki-dae and only become Mo Eun's lawyer to gain her trust?

Determined to unravel the truth, Yun-su returns to the exhibition just as Dong-hun is watching the footage she had earlier observed. There, she encounters Seo-won and inquires about Young-in's whereabouts. Seo-won confirms that he is indeed a law professor and shares a flashback of Ki-dae's heated phone conversation, where he chastises someone for bothering him over a plagiarized painting donated by Young-in—the very Sokoboako now hanging at the university. Seo-won also mentions that Ki-dae was deeply stressed about this matter.

Later, Yun-su stalks Young-in from afar before receiving a text from Ko Dong-uk, informing her that he has kidnapped Sop and demands her presence at a house with a blue door by 6 pm that evening.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Mo Eun overhears the report of Sop's kidnapping. She decides to take matters into her own hands and cuts open her wound, prompting Hui-yeong to make it seem like she hurt herself in self-defense. Mo Eun is rushed to the surgery room, where she swiftly knocks out the anesthesiologist, seizes a stash of medicines, and leaves the hospital dressed as a staff member. She hails a cab and stitches up her wound on the way, her mind racing with newfound resolve.

Dong-hun and Detective Ryu, their steps synchronized, made their way to Dong-uk's residence, where they discovered that he had brought along a firearm. As they discussed their suspicions about Young-in, Jeong-gu's eyes widened with recognition. Sun-deok chimed in, revealing that Yun-su had left a sketch of a woman on her car, asking her to include it in the evidence. She had complied, and now showed them the picture—a sketch of Choi Su-yeon that Jeong-gu instantly recognized. They pondered if Yun-su had only mentioned the evidence in her video as a ruse to lure Young-in into a trap. The team quickly secured a lock on Dong-uk's car and raced to his location.

At an aged, dilapidated house, Yun-su arrived to find Dong-uk pointing a gun at her, while Sop slept in the next room. Dong-uk was convinced that she was the one who had killed Se-hun, and he even had a video to prove it! A flashback revealed that it was Young-in who had been sending Dong-uk photos of Yun-su. However, as Dong-uk was distracted by a noise—the arrival of Mo Eun—he was caught off guard, and Mo Eun leaped at him as he ran out of bullets. Yun-su joined the fray, and they all tumbled over the first-floor balcony, crashing to the ground below. Dong-uk passed out, and the two women fled with Sop, leaving behind a trail of chaos.

By this point, Dong-hun and the police were scouring the area. Young-in, watching from a nearby distance, left disappointed that Dong-uk had failed to kill Yun-su. As Yun-su spotted Dong-hun approaching, she gave Sop a hug, a final goodbye. Promising to return soon, she left Sop with Dong-hun while she and Mo Eun went back on the run.

Pudgy helped them escape from the town, and the two outlaws boarded a different car. This time, Mo Eun told Yun-su her entire story. A flashback showed So-hae finding a young girl on the side of the road in Thailand, suffering from a spider bite. She saved her life, and the girl, named Mo-eun, became her close friend at the refugee camp. After Mo-eun helped So-hae recover, she herself fell sick. In order to help So-hae's revenge, Mo-eun had told her to switch identities with her upon her death. So, when Mo-eun passed away, So-hae drove them up to a hilltop and set the car on fire, keeping her passport inside while taking Mo-eun's for herself, officially adopting a new name. She also kept Mo-eun's watch, which was why it held such sentimental value to her.

As Yun-su listened to the whole story, she then asked Mo Eun why she was helping her even though Yun-su hadn't fulfilled her part of the bargain. Mo Eun wasn't entirely sure herself. They got into the car and drove off, with Yun-su now determined to find evidence that she hadn't killed her husband.
