Episode 7 of *The Resurrected* opens with a haunting flashback to 2020, when Shih-kai, out on bail, finds himself ensnared in a web of desperation. Desperate to save her son from a looming prison sentence, Mrs. Chung, Shih-kai's mother, enlists the help of his friend to orchestrate Shih-kai's disappearance. Unbeknownst to them, Eason’s grandmother witnesses the clandestine act, observing the man drugging Shih-kai. She bravely attempts to intervene and call the police, but her efforts are thwarted when the man strikes her, delivering a brutal blow to her head.

Fortunately, Eason arrives just in time, whisking his grandmother away to the hospital amidst the chaos. The police, alerted to the incident, promptly arrest Shih-kai, not only for his previous transgressions but also for his involvement in the unfortunate accident that befell Eason’s grandmother.
Meanwhile, amidst the turmoil, An-chi experiences the joyous arrival of a baby boy, a beacon of hope amidst the surrounding darkness. Officer Li, determined to uncover the truth, subjects Eason to a rigorous interrogation. Eason, however, steadfastly claims ignorance of the assailant who attacked his grandmother, denying any sight of Shih-kai committing the heinous act. The police, frustrated by their inability to link Shih-kai to the murder, are left grasping at straws.
Ching, driven by a sense of justice, attempts to persuade Eason to identify Shih-kai as a suspect in the case. Hui-chun, equally resolute, engages in a heartfelt conversation with Eason, recounting the atrocities Shih-kai inflicted upon Jin Jin and Hsin-yi. She extends a helping hand, offering her contact information and urging Eason to reach out if he requires any assistance.
Just then, Pong makes his entrance at the police station, introducing himself to Ching and revealing his connection to Hsin-yi. Pong fondly recalls Hsin-yi as a hero who selflessly tried to save her friends. That night, Ching is consumed by guilt, blaming herself for instilling in Hsin-yi the value of thinking about others. Hui-chun, ever the pillar of strength, consoles Ching, embracing her as both a sister and a trusted friend.
In a bold move, Hui-chun hires Eason, who moonlights as a male escort, for the night. Seizing the opportunity, she broaches the subject of Shih-kai, imploring Eason to aid her and Ching in their quest for justice for their children. Eason, initially hesitant, remains steadfast in his refusal. However, during the hearing for his grandmother’s case, a transformation occurs. Eason, driven by a newfound sense of purpose, accuses Shih-kai of attacking his grandmother. Under oath, he weaves a tale that, while a lie, serves as a testament to his loyalty to Hui-chun and Ching, and their shared pursuit of justice.
Shih-kai finds himself behind bars, arrested for his involvement in a vicious attack on a local Benkha woman. Meanwhile, Pong lends a helping hand to Hui-chun, assisting her in purchasing the convenience store adjacent to his pharmacy. With the wheels of their plan now in motion, Hui-chun successfully persuades Eason to join forces with them. Pong, too, throws his lot in with the women, going so far as to orchestrate his own arrest in order to infiltrate the prison and interrogate Shih-kai's companion.
The narrative then shifts back to the present day, where Ching, driven by desperation, suggests a drastic measure: killing Jin Jin to uncover the answers they seek about Shih-kai. In a tense confrontation, Ching questions Shih-kai about his entanglement with Jin Jin. He coldly reveals that Jin Jin fell head over heels for him and, for a price, betrayed her friends.
Ching's fury reaches a boiling point, and she rushes to the hospital where Kuo-chiang is keeping vigil over his daughter. She sends him home and, in a daring move, kidnaps Jin Jin, whisking her away to a clandestine hospital location. Meanwhile, Eason informs Hui-chun that Christina is ignoring his calls. Just then, a call from Ching comes through, revealing that Jin Jin is now in her custody.
Ching wastes no time in confronting Hui-chun about Jin Jin's role in Shih-kai's schemes. She accuses Jin Jin of ensnaring Hsin-yi and coercing her into working with Shih-kai in Taiwan, ultimately leading to her tragic demise. The two women, each driven by the loss of their daughters, vow to settle the score with each other's lives.
The following day, Eason, acting on Hui-chun's orders, takes Shih-kai with him. The revelation that Shih-kai had lied to Ching, aiming to shatter their friendship and derail their plan, leaves Hui-chun utterly devastated as the episode draws to a close, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.
